KWANKWASSIYA NOW A SYMBOL OF POLITICS IN NIGERIA

KWANKWASSIYA NOW A SYMBOL OF POLITICS IN NIGERIA
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.

DRESSED IN HIS CHARACTERISTIC RED CAP,KWANKWASSIYA IS NOW A BRAND OF POLITICS IN NORTHERN NIGERIA SPREADING AROUND LIKE A HARMATTAN HAZE
Dressed in a red cap and a white traditional flowing gown called  apparel Agbada in Nigerian parlance with embroidery to match ,Dr Rabiu Musa Kwankkwaso ,Governor of kano state has really proven for the umpteenth time that Kano is not a push over in Nigerian politics.
He has a lot of antecedents to draw up from ,it was in Kano City the likes of late Mallam Aminu Kano,Late Alhaji Abubakar Rimi,Alhaji Maitama Sule,Dan Masanin Kano,Alhaji Sule Lamido,Governor of Jigawa State,Late General Muritala Ramat Mohammed, Late General Sani Abacha and Alhaji Ibrahim Shekarau bestrode the nation at various times in history with there brand of politics.
Like his rival, General Muhammadu Buhari who eventually got the nod at the All Progressives Congress, Dr Kwankwanso believes that one of the only way Nigeria can forward is to tackle the issue of corruption very seriously and this he has not shied away from as eh has confronted it headlong since coming to office.
He took out a huge chunk of the time he was to use to address the gathering at the All Progressives Congress [A.P.C.] Presidential Primaries and convention to reel out the audience all the laudable projects his administration had embarked upon in the last four years of his regime.
Sources at the convention grounds at Teslim Balogun Stadium ,Lagos,Nigeria around Three in the afternoon local time suggested that the Kano Born politician had steeped down and were even sending text messages to buttress that fact but since there was no official statement to that effect it later turned out to be a hoax.

SAM NDA-ISAIAH’S HYPOCRISY DETECTED

SAM NDA-ISAIAH’S HYPOCRISY DETECTED

BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
For many,Pharmacist Sam Nda-Isaiah is the perfect gentleman even if he cannot be President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He has been able to mold his Leadership Group of Newspapers to a massive multi-billion naira enterprise between 2006 till date.
His story is a  perfect example of a Zero to Hero  things but there is a big snag about this character.
He is known for been an apostle of good governance and fond of preaching about transparency in his weekly column in his Abuja Based Leadership Newspapers ’yet he is in full support of corruption.
If you doubt this then what type of wisdom would have warranted ,Mr Nda-Isaiah to have appointed Mr Azubuike Ishiekwene as the Managing Director of his company after the latter was booted out of The Punch Newspapers for acts that are considered unethical in media practice.
It will have been a tragedy of monumental proportion if this Nupe born pharmacist turned media magnate had won APC’S ticket and gone ahead to be elected as President of Nigeria.
It is obvious that his activities that his activities will have been nothing short of double standard.
At the recent APC National convention he had his won tale to tell.
His words:”APC has a divine responsibility to change the situation of Nigeria ,whatever happens here today will  have a great impact because it is bound to move Nigeria forward”

YAYI IS HEIR APPARENT OF TINUBU’S POLITICAL DYNASTY

YAYI IS HEIR APPARENT OF TINUBU’S POLITICAL DYNASTY

BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.

He is  the man of the moment, infact after  Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu he is the news as far as South West politics is concerned right now.
He is extremely rich and on account of his deep pocket and  generosity they call him  Automated Teller Machine[A.T.M]
He is a very hot commodity in the political market right now,so hot is he  that everywhere he goes the media wants to get a view of him ,a short or an interview with him.
He is not blessed with the height of some men but what eh lacks in height ,he more than makes up with his large heart.
He is called Mr Olamilekan Solomon Adeola,a member of the House of Representatives who will be competing to be elected  on the ticket of All Progressives Congress [APC]to go to the Senate in 2015.
Insiders insists that a particular bank had to tell him recently to take things easy as they did not have cash and needed to wait for more reimbursements from other bigger branches before they can pay him.
Some say that in the future,Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu may draft him to contest as a Governor.
It is been said that he was to compete in Ogun State before he changed his mind at the last minute to compete for a seat in Lagos West  Senatorial District.
Sources claim that Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu used him while cashing in on his vibrancy to checkmate the growing wings of Senator Ganiyu Solomon who wanted to be Lagos state Governor at all cost under APC.
He is hotter than fire ,well ,if you doubt this then the caliber of people he defeated or forced to flee the contest during the primaries speaks volume of this magician .
Deputy Governor of Lagos state,Mrs Joke Orelope-Adefulire,Mr Demola Seriki,A Former Federal.Minister,Chief Enoch Ajibosho,a Former Commissioner in the state just to mention but a few.
In terms of size and population,Lagos west Senatorial District is the biggest political territory in Nigeria in terms of voting by electorates

OSHIOMHOLE IS GENERAL BUHARI’S BEST OPTION FOR A RUNNING MATE

OSHIOMHOLE IS GENERAL BUHARI’S BEST OPTION FOR A RUNNING MATE

OSHIMHOLE IS CHOSEN AHEAD OF GOVERNOR FASHOLA,AMAECHI AND FORMER GOVERNOR FAYEMI AS THE MAN WHO SHOULD RUN WITH GENERAL BUHARI ON ACCOUNT OF HIS PAN AFRICAN POPULARITY AND PERFORMANCE IN EDO STATE
Comrade Adams Oshiomhole ,Executive Governor of Edo state is the best option for the position of the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the ticket of the All Progressive Congress[A.P.C].
Rising from a brain storming session ,the team of Editorial Board and Strategists of Paedia Express Multimedia arrived at this after properly analyzing the strength and weaknesses of all the four candidates presently been touted as the possible number two choice for General Muhhamadu Buhari.
Though his candidature comes with a lot of heavy price as Chief John Odigie-Oyegun ,National Chairman of the party who hails from the same zone will now have to step aside as the position of number 2 and the one he occupies are not expected to come from the same zone.
APC will now have to ask the party’s godfather,Ashiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to shop for another chairman from within the South West.
Comrade Oshiomhole is the chosen by the editorial board of Paedia Express Multimedia on account of his association with the down trodden for up to three decades as a trade unionist thus enriching his curriculum vitae as a leader with a good heart in the eyes of the general public.
He is also expected to be able to win a lot of votes for the General on account of his mass appeal around the nation, born by muslim parents ,Comrade Adams Oshiomhole who later became a Christian later on in life is expected to come in handy on the thorny religious question as he will provide a balance on both sides of the divide as he cuts the picture of a moderate that can be trusted by both Muslims and Christians alike especially with Boko Haram threatening to destroy Nigeria.
His labour appeal makes him well loved across Nigeria and Africa where he led the Nigeria Labour Congress for some years before been elected as the Governor of Edo state
