ENGINEER IBRAHIM ADEKU BURIED IN LAGOS,AMIDST EULOGIES

ENGINEER IBRAHIM BENSON ADEKU SERVED NIGERIA MERITORIOUSLY THROUGH MARITIME AND SHIPPING SERVICES FOR ALMOST THREE DECADES
A retired senior management official of The Nigerian Port Authourity,Engineer Ibrahim Benson Adeku has been laid to rest in Lagos,Nigeria amidst eulogies by friends,associates and colleagues .
In beautiful and thought provoking sermons preached at the 8days Fidau Prayers held for the repose of the soul of the building engineer turned maritime practitioner, at least three Islamic   cleric who led the sermons at the prayers held at the deceased private residence in Lagos,Nigeria attested to the fact that Engineer Adeku was a complete gentleman and a rare Nigerian whose contributions to the community and various positions he held during his life time will forever be remembered by the people .
At the end of the one hour short but very incisive prayers,copies of The Glorious Quran were distributed by the Adeku family to friends and associates that attended Engineer Adeku's memorial services with refreshments served alongside.
A consummate professional in the engineering sector,Engineer Adeku ,a member of the Nigerian Society Engineers worked almost three decades at The Nigerian Ports before going into retirement in 2014 or thereabout  and then opening up shop for a private maritime and building engineering consulting firm before death came calling.
Miami Dade College in the state of Florida,United states of America,Federal Polytechnic ,Ilaro in Ogun state were some of his alma mater.
He was also briefly a teacher at The Government Technical College,Mopa,Kogi State in the early 80s ,shortly after his sojourn abroad.
Engineer Adeku left behind a wife,sibling,three children,aged mother,extended family members,kiths and kin among many others to mourn his demise .
He was honored for his long services to the maritime and shipping profession upon retirement from the Nigerian Ports Authourity ,Lagos,Nigeria.
He died due to diabetic complications  and was at least 60 years of age.
He was a direct paternal uncle to The Founder of E.N.M Paedia Express Multimedia Group,Lagos,Nigeria ,Mr Abdulmumini ireyi Adeku.
