BLOOD AT LEKKI: PART 3
BLACK TUESDAY 10 2020..... THE FACTS ON THE GROUND IN THE FACE
OF JUSTICE!
“This is the toughest night of our lives as forces beyond our
direct control have moved to make dark notes in our history, but we will face
it and come out stronger.”
Babajide Sanwo-olu
Executive Governor of Lagos State
https://nairametrics.com/.../endsars-governor-sanwo-olu.../
END IN VIEW:
FUNDS taken from Lagos to the Federal as TAXES, EXCISE DUTIES
and INCOME from the ports and other fees in Lagos should (by due process) be
"detained" or perhaps "jailed" (if necessary for life) in
Lagos, under the hard labour sentence of REBUILDING the Land that has the
capacity to host either and or both commonwealth games or Olympics…..A VISION
that is going to happen!
..... possibly within the next 50 years!
MATTER OF THE MARTYRS
Science makes it clear, that "MATTER is anything that
occupies space and has mass." more conventionally captured as "matter
is anything that has weight and occupies space".
English language tells us the MATTER is the focus of a
discussion, while a MARTYR is one who dies for a cause…. several MARTYRS were
killed on that Black Tuesday, resulting in the MATTER of this MATTER, that will
occupy space in our hearts and minds for a long time to come!
…..BEFORE THE PANEL STARTS:
…..Before the panel begins work on Monday 26 October, 2020,
evoking the descent of legal silence on this matter, several matters that have
weight and occupy space, are the "matter" of this article.
William Ukpe of Nairametrics captured the impending curtain
descent on public discourse in the rider of his October 19, 2020 account in
these words:
"An 8-man Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution has
been inaugurated by Lagos Government to investigate cases of police
brutality."
https://nairametrics.com/.../endsars-lagos-inaugurates-8.../
QUESTIONS: BUHARI, BURATAI AND BELLO (BBB)
The statement by Sanwo-olu (above) raises questions the panel
must unravel.
QUESTION: 1 "Who are the forces beyond our direct
control" ....the direct control of the Governor?
Observation: The only "FORCE" (note the use of the
word "FORCE") beyond the Governor's direct control are:
President Mohammudu Buhari Commander-in-Chief of the Armed
Forces.
Lieutenant General Buratai, the Chief of Army Staff.
In his clarification, of "forces beyond our direct
control"
Victor Enengedi in an October 22, 2020 story published by
Nairametrics, Enengedi wrote:
"Clarifying his earlier statement, Sanwo-Olu said,
“The hierachy and chains of command of the military is not
something that I have responsibility for. I do not pretend that I have such
powers to control or to activate the military. That’s what I was trying to
explain in that phrase.”
https://nairametrics.com/.../endsars-governor-sanwo-olu.../
This CLARIFICATION points in the direction of the Chief of Army
Staff and by extension his Commander-in-Chief!
QUESTION: 2 Why is the army in public denial as was established
in part 1 in the face of overwhelming evidence of their presence on that Black
Tuesday?
BACKGROUND TO QUESTION: By the evidence in public space the name
Omata, that turned out to be Brigadier Omata was heard at the venue and the man
said he was physically present, he subsequently identified Lt Col S. O. Bello
in public space as the the commanding officer responsibile for BLACK TUESDAY 10
2020.
QUESTION 3: Can Lt Col S. O. Bello, Commanding Officer, 65
Battalion Bonny camp who led the Black Tuesday massacre at Lekki, (based on the
evidence in public space revealed by Brigadier Francis Omata) move his troops
without the knowledge of both Buratai the Chief of Army Staff's and Buhari, the
Commander-in-Chief at such a sensitive time?
QUESTION 4: Were Omata and Bello Involved in Operation Crocodile
smile?
QUESTION 5:
Background to question from African Arguments.
"On 15 October, the Nigerian army released a statement
declaring its loyalty to the president and sending a message to “subversive
elements and trouble makers to desist”. This warning came on the ninth day of
the growing protests that have seen demonstrators shut down major roads in
Lagos, camp in front of the National Assembly and block routes to the airport
in Abuja, and march to the state governor’s office in Port Harcourt.
“In my opinion, the abiding fear of all Nigerian presidents –
particularly President Buhari who has overthrown and been overthrown – is a
coup, and all security threats are seen through that prism,” says Chidi Nwaonu,
a former soldier who now runs security consulting firm Vox Peccavi. “Thus, the
COAS [Chief of Army Staff] is reassuring him that he is not part of any plot.”
https://africanarguments.org/.../is-the-nigerian.../
Does Chidi Nwaonu position reflect Buhari's position?
What is African Arguments?
"The Royal African Society runs African Arguments, a
leading pan-African platform for news, investigation and opinion, reaching an
average of 100,000 people globally every month"
https://royalafricansociety.org/.../publications/arguments/
QUESTION 6:
ln the face of denials by the Nigerian Army, was it a foreign
invasion at the critical time of Operation Crocodile Smile?
OBSERVATION:
Chike Olisah's publication in Nairametrics, dated October 19,
2020, published under the headline:
"#EndSARS: Nigerian army says ‘Operation Crocodile Smile’ not
targeted at protesters"
Gave the commencement date of the annual military exercise as
October 20, 2020 as he went on to make reference to Musa Sagir, a Colonel and
spokesman of the Army.
Olisah wrote:
"the exercise which is scheduled to commence from Tuesday,
October 20, to December 31, 2020. The army spokesman disclosed that it has no
relationship with any lawful protest under any guise whatsoever.
The statement from the army spokesman reads, “For the records,
Exercise Crocodile Smile is a yearly exercise in the Nigerian Army
calendar/forecast of events which traditionally holds from October to December
of each year."
https://nairametrics.com/.../endsars-nigerian-army-says.../
QUESTION 7: How come the shooting took place on Tuesday, October
20 the day Crocodile Smile started and not days before?
QUESTION 8: Since the Nigerian Army is in denial, could a foreign
military or terrorist group have penetrated the Lekki axis at the critical time
of Operation Crocodile Smile?
QUESTION 9: By the evidence of Professor Pat Utomi, who heard
the blaring sound of sirens prior to the shooting, when did terrorists approach
a scene they intended to strike preceded by sirens?
QUESTION 10: If it was done by terrorists, why has the Nigeria
Army not come out to say so!
QUESTION 11: By the EVIDENCE in public space, how come Omata
from 81 Division (by the content of his words contained here) didn't know about
instructions from "forces beyond our direct control" the control of
the Governor?
NIGERIAN JUDICIARY: JUSTICE OR "RECUSAL"…..
INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL COURT THE ALTERNATIVE?
RECUSAL: "Judicial disqualification, also referred to as
recusal, is the act of abstaining from participation in an official action such
as a legal proceeding due to a conflict of interest of the presiding court
official or administrative officer."
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judicial_disqualification...
For two reasons the Nigerian Judiciary must be seen to stand up
for Justice
EVENT 1: CAPTAIN TIJJANI BALARABE'S COVER UP BY MALAMI
Captain Tijjani Balarabe of the Nigeria Army was implicated in
the Wadume scandal, rather than producing him for justice, there is a clear
attempt to cover him up!
Adelani Adepegba, in his June 11, 2020 account (published in the
Punch) he titled:
"Taraba killings: Confessions of killer soldiers Malami
shielded from trial"
Contained the following details:
"The curious decision of the Attorney-General of the
Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, (SAN), to drop charges
against 10 soldiers in the case involving an alleged Taraba State kidnapping
kingpin, Bala Hamisu, could be described as a brazen attempt to make a mockery
of the nation’s criminal justice system."
https://www.google.com/.../taraba-killings.../%3famp=1
Sahara reporters in a July 4, 2020 account, stated:
"Group Attacks Nigeria's Attorney-General, Malami, For
‘Shielding’ Military Officers Involved In Killing Of Three Policemen"
"The AGF's attempt to rationalise his action amounts to
sheer sophistry; an unconvincing afterthought which fails to exculpate him from
his scandalous attempt to shield murder suspects from justice"
http://saharareporters.com/.../group-attacks-nigerias...
Olalekan Adetayo and Ade Adesomoju of The Punch, provided the
details in their July 2, 2020 report with the headline:
"Captain Balarabe engaged me to cut Wadume’s handcuffs –
Welder
….this way:
"A welder from Ibi, Taraba State, Hafisu Bala, on Wednesday
at the Federal High Court in Abuja, said he was engaged by Captain Tijjani
Balarabe to cut the handcuffs on a kidnap kingpin, Bala Hamisu, otherwise known
as Wadume.
Wadume was allegedly freed after 10 soldiers led by Balarabe
helped his escape from the custody of policemen who were conveying him from Ibi
to Abuja on August 6, 2019."
https://www.google.com/.../captain-balarabe.../%3famp=1
Any attempt to prevent
1 Brigadier Francis Omata
2 Lt Col S. O. Bello
from appearing at the panel by the Nigeria Army as is happening
in the case of Captain Tijjani Balarabe, is an invitation to the BEDLAM of
BELFAST in the face of public anger.
The military authorities MUST ensure both officers appear before
1 The 8-man Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution in Lagos
2 Human Rights commission inquiry.
The panel should examine the FACTS on the ground with respect to
the EVIDENCE in public space and establish if there is any attempt to
1 Cover up Lt. Col Bello like Captain Tijjani Balarabe.
2 Establish if the Nigerian Army was the catalyst that ignited
the crisis that provoked the destruction of Lagos by IMPLOSION, leading to the
destruction of CRITICAL ASSETS in Lagos.
3 Establish if with the (assumed) overwhelming presence of
Nigeria Army for Operation Crocodile smile, any foreign or external armed
source could dare infiltrate Nigeria at the time of the Operation Crocodile
Smile, make their way to the protest ground and shoot, and why the army that is
swift in making such announcement neither made no announced nor effected any
arrest, nor engaged the said force in a fire fight?
Any attempt to BLOCK BELLO from justice like Captain Tijjani may
well result in the "BEDLAM of BELFAST"!
It must be noted that
Any attempt to BLOCK BELLO from justice like Captain Tijjani may
well result in the "BEDLAM of BELFAST"!
It must be noted that
SACRED COWS ARE THE PATH WAY TO "BEDLAM OF BELFAST"
EVENT 2: THE TWO SUPREME COURT (NOT WILL OF THE PEOPLE)
GOVERNORS
Justice for the simple citizen must at any given time BE SEEN TO
BE DONE, the Supreme Court judgements in favour of:
1 "Supreme Court" (not people's will by ballot)
Governor Hope Uzodinma; APC Imo state
2 "Supreme Court" (not people's will by ballot)
Senator Douye Diri; PDP of Bayelsa State
Don't represent the face of JUSTICE!
In both instances, JUSTICE to the ordinary citizen WAS NOT SEEN
TO BE DONE, at the highest level; the Supreme Court, this is a dark Judicial
stain of historical value, in the case of Bayelsa, two respected Senior
Advocates were fined for Telling the TRUTH!
Temidayo Akinsuyi in the February 27, 2020 account, published by
INDEPENDENT, titled:
"Afe Babalola, Olanipekun Don’t Deserve Supreme Court Fine
– Sagay"
Provided this details
"The Supreme court justices ruled that each of the lawyers
must pay N10 million to each of the three respondents – the Peoples Democratic
Party, Governor Duoye Diri, and the Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State, Lawrence
Ewhruojakpo, bringing the total amount to be paid to N60 million."
https://www.independent.ng/afe-babalola-olanipekun-dont.../
Insult on Injury, couldn't have found a better illustration,
because from the layman's perspective, justice was clearly not done in both
states and yet in Bayelsa, two senior lawyers were fined!
This is the status of the state of Nigeria's 2020 Supreme
Court....where courage to tell the TRUTH attracts a fine!
Will JUSTICE be done and be seen to be done by the time the
panels wind up their seatings?
Once justice is not seen to be done as is the case with Captain
Tijjani Balarabe and the two Supreme Court Governors, the
The International Criminal Court would be the last option and
should it get to that level, the Nigerian Judiciary would have lost global
respect.
Amirah Kuale in an article dated October 21, 2020 and published
by Moji Delano's online facility, stated the following:
"Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana has disclosed that he and
other lawyers are currently compiling evidence to ensure trial of Chief of Army
Staff (COAS), Tukur Buratai before the International Criminal Court.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria who made an appearance on Arise
TV today October 21, commended young peaceful #EndSARS protesters for capturing photo and video evidences
before and after the shooting at Lekki Toll Gate last night"
https://mojidelano.com/.../lekki-massacre-we-are.../
"BEDLAM of BELFAST"?
Jeff Wallenfeldt, a manager of Geography and History, with
experience as an editor at Encyclopaedia Britannica since 1992, has this
insight on what I call "Bedlam of Belfast"
"Alternative Title: Northern Ireland conflict
The Troubles, also called Northern Ireland conflict, violent
sectarian conflict from about 1968 to 1998 in Northern Ireland between the
overwhelmingly Protestant unionists (loyalists), who desired the province to
remain part of the United Kingdom, and the overwhelmingly Roman Catholic
nationalists (republicans), who wanted Northern Ireland to become part of the
republic of Ireland."

“FORCES BEYOND OUR DIRECT CONTROL”
Babajide Sanwo-olu
Executive Governor of Lagos State.
The Editor of Guardian in his fact of the matter account,

"Sanwo-Olu blames forces beyond ‘direct control’ for Lekki
killings"

"Lagos State governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu Wednesday morning
blamed “forces beyond our direct control” for the death of peaceful, unarmed
protesters at Lekki toll plaza on Tuesday."

8: FACTS ON THE GROUND 8: THE 4PM CURFEW:
"UPDATED: Sanwo-Olu imposes 24 hours curfew in Lagos"
….. was the way the pair of Olasunkanmi Akoni and Idowu Bankole
of the Vanguard, titled their report of October 20, 2020, that contained the
following details:
"I, therefore, hereby impose a 24-hour curfew on all parts

the Nigerian military opened fire on thousands of people who were peacefully calling
for good governance and an end to police brutality.
Witnesses at the Lekki protest grounds told Amnesty
international that soldiers arrived at about 6:45pm local time on Tuesday
evening, and opened fire on #EndSars protesters without warning. Eyewitnesses at Alausa
protest ground said they were attacked by a team of soldiers and policemen from
the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Unit at about 8:00 pm, leaving at least two

OMATA'S FINGER OF ACCUSATION AGAINST BELLO:
Brigadier Francis Omata, initially accused of the killing, in
his defense by the evidence of the genius media mentioned Lt Col S. O. Bello.
He was quoted as saying:
“I didn’t command the soldiers nor was there when shots were
fired. I rushed to the scene and arrived about 39 mins after and identified
myself and pull back the soldiers.
The soldiers were from there 65 Battalion Bonny camp led by
their commanding officer, Lt Col S. O. Bello.
My only mistake was that when I got to the scene I was screaming
my name to alert the soldiers about my presence and people at the scene picked
that up and ran with it”

Observation: Genius media have not taken down their story, nor
have they issued an apology
13: FACTS ON THE GROUND 13: COVERING UP THE EVIDENCE: LIGHTS AND
COMMUNICATION CUT OFF
Suyin Haynes of Time International, in an
updated October 23, 2020 account, originally published on
October 21, 2020 titled:
"The Nigerian Army Shot Dead at Least 12 Peaceful
Protesters in Lagos, Rights Group Says. Here’s What to Know"
contains the following information:
"An on-the-ground investigation by Amnesty International
has confirmed that the Nigerian army and police killed at least 12 peaceful
protesters on Oct. 20 at two locations in Lagos. The rights group says the
killings took place at Alausa and Lekki, both suburbs of Lagos. On Tuesday
evening, reports and videos on social media appeared to show the Nigerian army
opening fire on unarmed peaceful #endSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate in Lagos after
reportedly turning off the street lights and cutting phone networks."

14: FACTS ON THE GROUND 14: NIGERIAN ARMY DENIAL
Alfred Olufemi in his October 21, 2020, account, published in
Premium Times titled:
"#EndSARS: Despite contrary evidence, Nigerian Army denies
shooting at protesters"
...provided these details:
"The Nigerian Army has denied that its officials shot at
protesters in Lekki Toll Gate Plaza on Tuesday evening.
This paper earlier reported how security agents in military
camouflage opened fire on protesters at the Lekki toll gate, in Lagos State.
PREMIUM TIMES learnt that the streetlights were put off and the
CCTV cameras removed before the security agents stormed the venue.
https://www.premiumtimesng.com/.../422021-endsars-despite...
As a result of the EVIDENCE provided above:
NBA'S LEGAL ACTION AGAINST NIGERIA ARMY
"The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) says it will take legal
actions against the Nigerian military for shooting unarmed protesters in the
Lekki area of Lagos state."
https://www.thecable.ng/endsars-nba-to-sue-army-over...
CONCLUSION:
The prime evidence of Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu, the chief
security officer of the state, to who said that:
1 “This is the toughest night of our lives as forces beyond our
direct control have moved to make dark notes in our history, but we will face
it and come out stronger.”
and
2 “The hierachy and chains of command of the military is not
something that I have responsibility for. I do not pretend that I have such
powers to control or to activate the military. That’s what I was trying to
explain in that phrase.”
point overwhelming in the direction of the Nigerian army.
Should the EVIDENCE be established that the Nigeria Army was the
catalyst that provoked the destruction of Lagos, the Federal Government must
bear the cost of rebuilding Lagos from funds from nothing less than 40% of
income from the Lagos Ports (as stated in Part 2) to which I many add nothing
less than 40% of EXCISE DUTIES generated in the state and sent to the Federal,
until such a time as Lagos has been fully restored to its pre October 2020
status.
It is time to be SILENT as the
"court" ; the panel takes over.
