JOURNALISTS INITIATIVE FOR SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT COMES ALIVE

It is a great achievement to Journalists Initiative for Sustainable Environment (JISE) as our certificate of registration is released by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) after about 16 months of registration drill.
Today, JISE wears a new legal appearance.
We want to use this opportunity to thank all our members nationwide for your patience and understanding all through this period of struggle-Mrs Ugonma Cokey, Ben Ezemalu, Poopola Samuel, Abdulmumini Ireyi Adeku, Joseph Chibueze, Omafume Amurun, Blessing Mbonu Ibunge, Ugochi Anyaka, Sam Nzeh and a host of others all over the nation.
We are highly indebted to our Trustees-Dr Tunde Akanni, Mrs Victoria Ohaeri, Mr Philip Jakpor, Dr Joe Odumakin and Mr Awal Musa Rafsanjani.
We are also using this opportunity to thank our lawyer Barr. Orji Enerst Emezie.
We thank also our overseas friends- Simes Iida, Peik Jonahson, Timo Sipola all of VIKES in Finland, Ike Teuling, Leena Hirvonen, Junno Kaama, Laura Graen, Tapani Niemi and all others, informing you all that JISE is now position for full scale environment justice pursuit in Nigeria and Africa at large. We are not forgetting Sani Baba and Satoko Kishimoto.
We cannot conclude this salutation if we do not extend our gratitude to Mr Olufemi Akinbode, Deputy Executive Director, Environmental Rights Action (ERA) Lagos.
