GHANA'S AKUFFO ADDO EMERGES THE DIFFERENCE NEWSPAPERS MAN OF THE YEAR

Ghana's President, Nana Akufo Addo emerged this evening as The Difference Newspaper's #AfricanLeaderoftheYear 2019. Previous winners were President John Magufuli of Tanzania (2017) and Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed of Ethiopia (2018). 
Demonstrated commitment to development, democracy and freedom, African Integration, press freedom and institutions building are core criteria for selecting winners and this passes through a three-track process. 
Award to be presented later in the year. Congratulations!
