The Sahara Desert is principally made up of Bedouin tribal herdsmen and groups amongst which are the following :Touaregs,Fulani,Toubon,Kanuri,Adar,Arabs and over 200 other tribal groups.
It is believed by historians and archeologists that people from the ancient cities of Tyre an Sidon in the present day Sinai Peninsular /Syria/Lebanon/Jordan/Israel moved in the course of nomadism to a place in Niger Republic now called Agadez in Niger Republic in modern times..
The Touaregs who are the most prolific of the desert region of the Sahara are to be found in Niger,Mali,Algeria,Libya and Chad.
It was gathered in the course of study that a pastoral resource centre worth a 7,000 square meters of land worth $200,000 has being given approval by the leadership of the Republic of Niger..
Pastor Olu Sunday who is the Founder of The Missionary Outreach International in Agadez in Niger Republic pointed out that the area had some economic pitfalls in that it has a challenge in finding a market for their production ,it uses ancient techniques for dairy processing and marketing ,it uses the milk it produces for self only, the people of the desert are going through a period of starvation presently.
The Clergy explained that the centre will aid in the training of modern technique and treatment of the livestock thus giving them a marketing platform for the whole world..
Israeli outfit,Tessa dairies is said to be involved in the project.
It was also discovered that though the project was being initiated by a christain group the aim was not to forcefully make everyone a Christian as far as he visioneer of the scheme was concerned..
