Covid-19 Oluwafemi Iselaye Foundation Donates Food items To Over 1,500 Households in Yagba Federal constituency
The hopes of vulnerable people
widows and less previladge in Yagba Federal constituency were, on Saturday, 9th
May, 2020, raised as they received the donation of various food items from one
of the illustrious Son Hon Daniel Oluwafemi Iselaye through his organisation
known as Femi Iselaye Foundation.
The
beneficiaries made up of mostly vulnerable people of Yagba land consisting of
widows and the less privileged were in high spirit as they sang praise to God
for the provision.
In a
message, prior to the distribution of the palliative materials, Hon Daniel
Oluwafemi Iselaye, said the foundation was committed to the good leadership of
the people of Yagba Federal constituency and ensuring that good Governance was
brought to their doorsteps, as being demonstrated and they are committed to
helping these categories of vulnerable citizens during this period of economic
crunch caused by the Corona Virus and for helping them to fight the pandemic
and hunger.
He charged
the beneficiaries to remain faithful and to put their trust in the unfailing
God for sustenance and permanent survival. “Pray for open doors and favours for
the people and his foundation so that they can go beyond this phase of donation
and extend this gesture to more people and other categories of vulnerable citizens
that are crying for help”, the phylatropist said .
Hon Femi
Iselaye, who was represented at the event by the Leader of the team Comrade
Oloruko-oba Adebayo Jnr said that the organisation was led to intervene and
provide this token in order to reduce the sufferings and frustration being
faced by vunurable people in yagba Federal constituency owing to COVID-19.
explained
that the Foundation has a raw passion for service to humanity, irrespective of
differences in religion, gender, or Socal status. “We are committed to bringing
comfort to the dying needy and empowering vulnerable yagba citizens, without
any form of discrimination”.
He added
that The Foundation was available to always give back to the society,
especially during emergencies as well as during health and humanitarian crises
such as we now find ourselves in the COVID-19 ravaging the world.
