WHO STAYS INSIDE CASTLE OSU PRESIDENTIAL PALACE ,ACCRA,GHANA FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS?

A  Ghanaian ,Mr Sedem Rodney Tsenuokpor while reacting to a recent publication on the nations forthcoming elections holding in December,2016 has described as pathetic the notion being held in some quarters that the incumbent: President John Dramani Mahama was as good as almost been returned to the seat of power.
In a detailed response which he sent to The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos, Nigeria via the social media   said that it will be a tragedy of a great proportion of if Mr Mahama were to retain his plum job after the elections soon.
Analysts believe that since Mr Tsenuokpor is a member of the ruling party in Ghana hence his opinion should be taken in its strongest context
EXCERPTS OF THE XPLOSIVE OUTBURST FROM A DISSATIFIED GHANIAN OVER 2016 POLLS,UNCENSORED!!!
I could even grant you o one on one interview if you want as disillusioned member of Ghana's ruling party...look I have been voting NDC since the inception of the fourth Republic republic so something extraordinary must have happened for me to have decided to vote NPP this year and I believe I speak for so many!...to being with the corruption that has bedevilled this government is mindboggling...SADA,GYEEDA,BUS branding etc, coupled with allegations of inflation of contract costs which this Government has done very little to dispel in spite of their awesome network of media houses...the car gift to the president which placed him in a clear conflict of interest situation was what broke the camel's back...the Economy has been badly managed...this government would have done itself a lot of good if it had listened to the pieces of advice offered by the opposition party's running mate in respect of the economy but the government attack dogs took to insulting him.!...unfortunately most of Bawumia's predictions have come to pass chief among them being we turning to the IMF for a bailout, this has raised Bawumia's profile and badly dented Government's image...are you surprised therefore that the NPP has strategically placed Bawumia at the forefront of their campaign, with the president struggling with him for space in the Media?...taka for in stance when Bawumia asked government to lessen borrowing...the president told him publicly to back off and that the loans were not being contracted for drinking tea...that answer was pedestrian to say the least coming from the Head of state!...the question of massive infrastructural development is not in doubt but how has that translated into the economic wellbeing of the people?...infrustractural development cannot be in isolation. to other fundamentals in the economy...unemployment is on the ascendancy!...John Mahama has been VERY influential in the running of this country in the last eight years and as such has had all the opportunity to leave his mark and as such am not prepared to endorse another four years for him!...who doesn't know that he was the de facto president of Ghana during president Mills' tenure?...to whom much is given much is expected and our people have a saying that you can know what lies ahead from. the beggining...I realise the Nigerian community like Mahama a lot and I can't begrudge you for that because Mahama as a person is likeable but he has allowed people around him to antagonise the populace, especially his communicators...for the president to say there is a cabal blocking his message is a sign of frustration by a president who senses looming defeat...to sum it all up my major concern is the economy and it is in shambles....Nana Addo is clearly making his last shot at the presidency and I believe we need to give him a chance to prove himself for the sake of Mother Ghana!..no one has made a forceful case for an Akufo Addo presidency than Manama himself through his mismanagement of our Affairs....Why show should a foreign news outlet be the one to be projecting Mahama's achievements to Ghanaian in the dying days of his first term?.am talking of Ovation Magazine...I need a copy of the Magazine's latest publication though..I have been to a couple of shops but couldnt get it.can you direct me to a place I can get it from?or better still get me a copy so I pay for it... l still have an open mind..can you convince me to vote for Mahama?let's have a lively debate brother!!!how is your publication the 'Difference' doing?its a longtime I had a copy, where can I get one?as I said am ready for a one on one with you on this subject because am anxious and passionate about my country's future!am not trying to project myself but to get it off my chest and contribute to the debate about Ghana's future.Cheers brother!!!
The Electoral Commission (EC)  today [Monday], disqualified thirteen persons who were hoping to contest the country’s presidential elections in December this year.
The EC Chairperson, Charlotte Osei, who made the announcement at a news conference, said those disqualified failed to meet the necessary requirements in filing their nomination forms.
There were however different reasons for which each of the aspirants were disqualified.
Nominations closed today [Monday] with only 17 aspirants presenting their filled forms, although 23 people had picked up forms to contest.
All the parties were supposed to submit their filing fees by midday today [Monday], after an Accra High court dismissed an injunction suit filed by the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) in protest against the fees.
The disqualification of the thirteen, leaves only four candidates qualified for now, barring any last minute changes.
The NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo, the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama, the CPP’s Ivor Greenstreet, and Jacob Osei Yeboah, an independent Presidential candidate remain the only qualified persons for the polls.
