ALHAJI ABUBAKAR BEEN FIELDED WITH QUESTIONS RECENTLY BY THE PRESS

Former Vice President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, Businessman and highly respected statesman and politician ,Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is strongly believed to have at least 21 states in his kitty already even without the campaigns for 2019 elections starting full blast if feelers are anything to go by.

While briefing a cross section of the Nigerian Press at one of the meetings of the Atiku Leadership Forum held in Lagos,Nigeria ,The National Chairman ,Mr Mark Iheanyi has said that they on the platform believe in the sterling qualities of the politician especially after seeing him serve the nation at the highest level as Vice President for 8 years between 1999 till 2007.

He assured the creme of media executives at the event that he was not hallucinating but that they have captured 21 states already and were working on just another 4 or 5 so as to coast to a famous victory in 2019.

He noted that as part of their immediate plans to capture power for their principal in 2019 ,they will soon be moving out quickly to reach out to other local government areas nationwide that they have not yet planted their men to work on the grass roots for a strong support base in such places .

He revealed that members of the Atiku Leadership Forum under his leadership were willing to follow the Former Vice President to any political platform he decides to contest in 2019 if he decides to leave the All Progressives Congress[A.P.C.]to seek for shelter elsewhere as they were following the person and not the party.

In a related issue,The Vice Chairman of the body ,Alhaji Ilyasu .B.Zaki said that even though there were several people vying for the exalted position of the Nigerian Presidency ,they on the forum were not pretending about whom they were all rooting for at this time and beyond as they love him for been a highly objective politician.

He recalled that at the height of Boko Haram 's powers ,The Former Vice President single handedly called out on traditional hunters to help in the fight with the insurgency and was even willing to pay for their services if need be.

He pointed out that the news that the terror group attacked Mubi also annoyed the politician as he saw it as  stain on his home state.

He added that he was sure that their principal if given the nation's highest job as President will marshal all the human  resource potentials  and diplomacy to end the crisis caused the nation by The Niger Delta.
