The average Togolese national wants Faure Gnassinbe and his family out of office

When this reporter travelled by road via the Trans African Highway linking such towns like Seme.Aflao to Accra in 2012,it was discovered that save for the Lome-Accra Highway overlooking the Atlantic Ocean virtually all the main roads linking the city were in a state of disrepairs.
Though ,the imposing and highly impressive international Head offices of Ecobank Transnational helped to beautify the skylines but this still did not offer much.
A major cement company in Togo also along the Highway showed that some level of industrial activities were actually on in a nation whose leadership has being known to plunder its resources rather than turn them into a good usage.
In the book :One day and a story ;reminiscences of an African journalist written by Mr Dare Babarinsa, the author had  explained  on page 110 of his book that the Togolese national life was seriously dominated by the late Gnassingbe Eyadema family.
He pointed out that the dynasty had being sustained in power by acidic cronyism and backings of France.
The author also described   the level of brute force the Eyadema family uses to keep power when he narrated how a soldier had pointed an automatic weapon in his face while going to eat at a restaurant.
In a related issue,an impeccable source who spoke exclusively to The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria on the political lock jam in Togo said that The late Gnassingbe Eyadema's dynasty that had bestrode Togo's national life like a collosus for five decades were actually from a village called Lamakarah in Northern Togo and though their tribal group :Kabia are not in majority but today are the most powerful due to the Eyadema influence.
He explained that the division caused by the sending to the prisons his step brother:Kpatcha Gnassingbe over a coup plot has further divided the nation along all sorts of lines.
The source accused the older brother of current Togolese leader:Kpatcha as having been responsible for couriering hard drugs for the late family during the regime of his late father thus making them stupendously wealthy.
The source  affirmed that it was his hope that what happened in Harare,Zimbabwe to Mugabe leading to his resignation happen in Lome soon as the sufferings were unbearable.
He pointed out that the streets were in state of total disrepairs and that they were only ever done if the President had a girlfriend or mistress on the street.
The source recalled that Late Ahamadu Tidjani who was a Former Chief of Defence Staff in Togo and who worked with Gnassingbe Eyadema decided to hand over power to Faure based on an agreement he had with the elder Eyadema but eventually got betrayed by Faure in the power game that almost tore Togo to shreds.
He noted that though the protests that rock Lome ,Togo several weeks ago had since bein reduced to its barest minimum but that trouble had not gone away.
He added that the likes of Gilchrist Olympio were no longer regarded by the Togolese people as they believed he had sold out on principles and was now doing the bidding of the Eyadema family..
In a related issue ,yet another Togolese source said that due to the pressures that the people brought on the Togolese leadership ,President Faure Gnassingbe seems to have lost some weight considerably recently.
