CAMEROUNS:BURSTED DAM CHOKES NIGER DELTA BASIN

The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria ,now hears that he several dams lining the Camerounian pathway around the Adamawa region en route River Benue in the Nigerian Midlands  which usually gets opened up around this time of the year has led to a case of a submerged village in Bayelsa state of Nigeria.
Checks at Biseni ,a village of around 12,000 people in Bayelsa State of Nigeria showed that the entire village has being submerged with flood waters with billions of naira  worth of property believed to have  being lost to the natural disaster.
A source noted that the rains became very intense since the end of September,2019 and has now reached its peak level with the intensity as at press time.
When queried on the role played by The National Emergency Management Agency [N.E.M.A],the source who is an indigene of Biseni village simply pointed out that the situation has since gone out of there control.
His words :"Our people are under the waters in Biseni community ,Yenagoa Local Government Area  of Bayelsa State of NIgeria"
In a related issue,The Chairman of Biseni Community of traditional chiefs,Chief Fateya Onumonu ,while speaking to The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria noted with dismay the level of tragedy  on the ground in his village ,believed to be in the Yenagoa Local Government area of Bayelsa State of Nigeria..
His words :"The situation is really very critical ,please help us alert FERMA,NEMA,our people have being displaced by the floods as properties have also being  lost"
"a lot of people are falling sick and have no access to safe drinking water for domestic purposes and no good drugs for medical situations  ,it can best be described as a tragedy"
Analysts are expecting that officials of the state environmental agency should move quickly to work out an amicable solution with Federal agencies  like FERMA and NEMA  so as to provide palliatives for the people of Biseni
