NIGERIA!!CHINESE COMPANY FIRES 500 IN LAGOS

The current trends in the nation's economy which is in dire
straits continues very recently as The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia
Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria understands that a Chinese Women
-products-only producing firm in Lagos,Nigeria located along the busy Iju-Ishaga Motorway near the popular
Agege-Pen Cinema ,commonly called The Expressions is sacking over 500 workers
as at press time.
A mole who works for the company said that already sack
fever has gripped the entire length and breadth of the company as many are afraid that perhaps more heads may roll in the firm.
The mole did not specify the reasons given by the firm for
the reduction in its workers ,she however observed that the company might have
not less than 500,000 Nigerians on its employee books as it has over 100 range of women related
products in her profile with each of the products having not less than 5,000
workers per unit.
In a related issue,another source while explaining the
possible reasons for the sack letters given by the company hinted that there were
many competing feminine oriented brands in the market place presently and with
this reducing Expressions market share.
He added that the company's corporate head offices was
actually in Mushin area of Lagos and not Iju -Ishaga Highway at Agege -Pen
Cinema area of Lagos as previously thought by this reporter due to the
expansive compound and other forms of fixed assets owned by the company at its
annex.
