3 Years after The E.N.M.Paedia Express Tabloid Newspapers suddenly left the streets and the news stands ,The publisher ,Mr Abdulmumini ireyi Adeku has declared  that it will not just get back to the market again but will leave the realm of a periodical journal to a monthly almost immediately…

The premium product had being previously printed on web off set ,goss machines and cord machines but now printing techniques could be done in digital imaging depending on the level of advertising revenues.

While  also formulating a concise blueprint to become a weekly in about a year or two of returning to the newspaper market.

He revealed that a strategic session he had with Madam Janet Osamor ,The Publisher of the Fabulous Celebrity International Magazine recently in the office gave him a clue as to what to do to return the premium product into the market again.

According to him,save for liquidity and his newspaper division which gives him so much night mares due to its moribund nature  ,he was happy at the progress that his brand  has made culminating in at least 121 career milestones with the bulk of them garnered while pushing his own dreams.

The Economic News Media Enterprises[E.N.M.],which is the official and registered trading names of the group with the corporate Affairs Commission [C.A.C.]are well grounded in the art and science of printing and publishing …

Mr Abdulmumini Adeku speaks:”all we have achieved is courtesy of God  factor ,hard work ,perseverance ,diligence and nothing else “

“I could recall an experience once at The Daar Press in 2007 /2008  I think I had run short of funds at the time and we were in deep production as we had concluded the Pre-Press operations and we needed to buy  photographic films so as to make our pages translucent”

“It was going to cost some few thousands at the time but I could not come  up with the cash and so I asked that we smear the pages of white blank sheets with groundnut oil instead and even though the final product on the table was not 100 percent sharp ,at least it was 70 percent sharp  and the memories of that day will stay with me forever”

“This way we solved a problem for the shortest period at the time and was able to get to the market ,this way we also reduced our overheads at the time,we do not have anyone to gift us with free money as I have only built the brand from collecting handouts from family,friends,consultancies and advertising that usually comes up in trickles “

“we have suffered a lot from a culture of willful  sabotage    but we have survived ,we have also drawn the blueprints for our future press hall and printing press even as we do not have the cash for the project just as yet”

“we do hope that now that Paedia Express Tabloid is back to the streets again there will be no reason to take it back to off the streets ,amen”

The company had published The First Voice Newspapers,The E.N.M.Business and Economy Newspapers at one time or the other ,infact the former was a free sheet product that stood tall among its peers in the high streets brand category .

The company can produce diaries,calendars,notebooks,textbooks,souvenirs,amongst others …

The company wired over 32 news reports in October ,2005 ,upon which The Business Week Newspapers rolled out its maiden copies at launch at the Lagos Airport Hotel in Ikeja in 2005 and on the occasion the brand made N2.5 million .

It also published an online news journal which also served as a news agency at the time :Economic News Online while maintaining a bureau in Kathmandu ,Nepal ,Asia aside from its Lagos global Head quarters …

It also partnered an information technology outfit which was owned by the Late Mr Dominic Osagie to publish  a special media supplement on Ghana in 2008 ,it has also edited a book written by a Sierrra Leonian author .

First Voice Newspapers published only three editions ,Business and Economy Newspapers published only two different editions before they left the market ,however in the course of  their publications ,Mr Adeku will usually take the products for sales,circulation ,distribution and marketing all on his own and it is this experience he has that he has put to use since starting Paedia Express Tabloid Newspapers…

Each edition of newspaper publication in the past ,Mr Adeku paid a sum of between N100,000 to N200,000  for production as against this days when printing is often done via digital imaging with consumers been served based individual demands as a times on the quantum of advertising.

At peak period  of traffic ,Business and Economy Newspapers ,The First Voice Newspapers publish at least 2,000 copies each per edition ,however in recent years due to the down turn in the economy ,Paedia Express Tabloid Newspapers published between 200 to 300 copies and as it struggled intermittently to stay on in the news stand  it could not maintain the accolades its digital divisions enjoyed from the consuming market.

By December,2020,The E.N.M.Paedia Express Tabloid Newspapers will be in its 11th edition and with new but improved innovations to add to the product ,such as Ibo Express,Sunday Bouys,Paedia Bettings ,Crime,Arts,Motoring,Features,Ijebu Express,Abuja/Northern news and the Eye of the Storm .

All of these will join the already existing pages like Editorial ,News ,Mint ,Investigations and sports Express..It also publishes the awe inspiring Cartoon Express Newspapers ,edited by Mr Olumide Bello  as an insert in the premium product… in the 6th edition and the entire group’s 11th since inception…

Depending on advertising ,pagination of the product had either reduced or increased over the years ,there was a time it published 32 pages and in recent times it has also included printing via digital imaging to cope with market demands.

Key advertisers to the Paedia Express Tabloid Newspapers since it started publishing its hard copies in March,2014 are as follows:2807 studios,Print Max,Global Max fuel direct,Our Friend Hospital in Ifako-ijaiye,Lagos,Nigeria ,Mausight Productions,Mr Ipogah,Journalist Against AIDS,Peace Global satellite Communications ,LandGold Micro Finance ,National Action Committee on AIDS,Notore,PZ,Coca-Cola,Oke-Aro Adiyan Pig Farms ,cooperatives and Thrift Societies,classified adverts amongst others.

It has also partnered a lot of marketing initiatives among which includes but not limited to the following and they the Alternatives Power Exhibitions by Folub Electricals services of Mr Bode Adefolu ,The Lions Club Tree of 2017 ,Miss classique Nigeria 2017 and it has just being confirmed as media partner to the 2020 Lagos Peace concert hosted by The Unique conceptz Entertainment .

Instead of missing out totally on advertising it has also partnered  with some newspapers like the Daily Times,The Daily Independent Newspapers so that classified adverts like change of names revenues amongst other forms of public notice were not lost .

He has also handled special projects for the printing industry and the alternative power sector .

The group has worked with well over 100 commercial associates or partners since first opening its doors for trading in September 30th ,2005 culminating in a very rich rewarding but enduring relationship with The United Nations that fetched the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize  as it has also being cleared since 2007 to produce the largest newspaper in page size by the Guinness Book of World Records .

He has also marketed and sold his newspaper products in the hot Lagos traffic especially in and around areas like Allen Avenue in Ikeja-Lagos, Nigeria,college Road in Ifako-Ijaiye ,Lagos,Nigeria…

He has also authored his products in about 12 different  vendor stands in Lagos,Nigeria aside from the direct aggressive marketing to consumers     at the domestic wing of the Muritala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos,Nigeria ..

He has also circulated in Victoria Island,Lagos,Ikoyi in Lagos,Nigeria  on foot and motor bike in the past .

A key investor is at the moment discussing with the group to help it midwife and warehouse a sports newspaper in the mould of Complete Sports in the local sports media market..

The group publishes every week on Facebook,Twitter,Instagram,Google Plus,Web,Mobile and it’s available to speak to consumers directly via its Whatsapp platform,with its official email is busy to collect editorial material on a daily basis.

It’s digital library which is on its web gateway at www.enmpaediaexpress.blogspot.com is considered a monument by those who know the news media sector very well locally and globally as well…

The Newspaper and all of its sister associates in the respective divisions  will soon partner with a United States based newspaper on a project targeted at helping to firming up infrastructural depth over the course    of the next two decades.

The wordsmith craftsman intends to resume the publication of  hard copy of Paedia Express tabloid newspapers via an eight page format and then he will grow it to between 40 to 48 pages depending on the quality of advertising and sponsorships that the market is able to give back to the firm .

2 key clients have already booked to pay for an advertising and public relations  based media space as the newspaper makes its way into the local and the export markets again thus suggesting a bright future for the premium product.

Just before the 2019  polls ,this medium despite not making any forms of profit but running on huge losses gave out advertising space worth N2Billion to any political party willing to support its Free Press agenda .

Activities towards returning the newspapers into the market actually started in January,2020 but for the pandemic that strayed into initial plans and projections

Note ::The picture is that of The Nation Newspapers company owned by the Agha Khan family who produce in Nairobi,Kenya,The Economic News Media Enterprises [E.N.M.]based in Nigeria had produced The First Voice Newspapers and the E.N.M.Business and Economy Newspapers from an integrated press hall like this called the DaaR Press and it was owned by High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi in between 2006 till 2008 and shortly after this the press firm closed down till date
