FOR THE RECORDS!!!PROTEST ROCKS ACCRA OVER AKUFFO-ADDO ‘S WIN

Protest has rocked various parts of Accra,Ghana over the recent declaration of the New Patriotic Party [N.P.P.]’s Candidate ,Nana Dankwa Akuffo-Addo as the winner of the 2020 Presidential  Poll as against John Dramani Mahama of the National Democratic Party [N.D.P]..

Bishop Charles Agyinsare ,a Top Ghanaian clergy in a recent sermon monitored by The News office Desk of The E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria said that it was sickening that people have been killed in the course of the elections and aside from the  spates of violence which has since rocked the polity  this kind of situation was not acceptable.

He urged the two warring gladiators to try to give peace a chance while EX-President John Dramani Mahama should try to pursue  justice without  bearing any forms of vengeance at heart.

The United Nations Envoy dispatched for the polls,Mohammed Ibn Chambas noted that both the N.P.P and the N.D.C should try to give peace a chance  as a result of the content of the peace pact both of them had signed before the elections.

Youths in the Volta Region in  the Anlo Aflandendoba area insisted on the redeployment of the policemen that were posted to the area during the polls noting that they were very unprofessional  in  the approach to their duties hence demanded that the leadership do something very urgently…

In a related development ,there was a verbal case of near fracas at the Ghanaian Parliament   as The Majority Leader of the House,Osei Kyei Mensah and his minority counterpart ;Idrissu Haruna representing Pru East ,from Brong Ahafo region squared up against each other publicly on the highly contentious matter for the first time over the general conducts of the 2020 Presidential contest by The Electoral Commission of Ghana[E.C. of Ghana]…

Meanwhile ,at least six of the Presidential candidates at this year’s polls led by the A.P.C Dr Hassan Ayarigha has called on the two feudal lords at the N.P.P and the N.D.C to give  peace as there was nothing as such like a perfectly held general elections globally.

It would appear that the poll results continues to generate a lot of dusts in Accra,Ghana as at press time as Former President John Dramani Mahama of the N.D.P has declared publicly that he was unable to accept the results as  declared by the Electoral Commission of Ghana .

Mahama explained that it was incomprehensible that his party , the N.D.P captured a parliamentary  majority of 140 seats hence the declared presidential result was nothing short of robbery at gun point.

He listed  several  incidents bothering on thuggery and pilfering  of ballot boxes with partisanship displayed openly by the nations security agency’s  thus helping to cast a wider doubt on the transparency of the polls.

He urged the press to report exactly what is happening in Ghana and should not be intimidated by those in power.

He expressed his deepest sorrow at the loss of lives of their supporters     who got killed trying their votes while insisting on their been honored with minutes of silence at his party’s  general press conference.

He noted with shock that he was stunned to discover that instead of the E.C. Of Ghana waiting for at least 72 hours as mandated  by the nations laws ,it hurriedly made announcement under 24 hours of final collation thus putting themselves in situations where they made a lot of mistakes.

He warned that the N.D.C. apart from presently holding consultations at the highest levels of the polity in Ghana will try to take up all options available on the table so as to get back what it considers his party’s stolen victory.
