NIGERIA:NEW OIL DISCOVERY IN THE MIDLANDS

The News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria now hears that Petroleum could be embedded in the soils of Ogbogbom village in Idah Local Government area of Kogi state of Nigeria..
An impeccable source who hails from the area insisted that he had noticed oil firms in the waters of the rivers ,streams and wells of the area as far back as 1972.
He did not however reveal whether the Nigerian Federal authorities were aware of the interesting development even as he affirmed Kogi State to be an exceedingly rich geo-political Zone .
He pointed out that there were as many as 15 different mineral resources in the state but that only three were currently being processed for infrastructural development .
He paid tributes to the progress made by Oriental Petroleum on the oil block being fought for by the villages along the kogi and Anambra state borders ,saying apart from the relative peace now being enjoyed in the area which was once restive due to strange death the area had recorded in the course of hostilities between warring villages over the oil deposits,the bluechip has since listed a certain Professor Nuhu Obaje to oversee the affairs of the area.
This reporter had learnt that Professor Obaje was formally of the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University in Niger State.
