VALENTINE'S DAY SPECIAL:
My AWARD-WINNING LOVE POEM(2004):
TO MY LOVE, ON VALENTINE'S DAY:
Measure not my love for you, my love,
with the man-made meters
of gifts and gold,
or the crystal colours
of dazzling diamonds
and crisp-new cash.
No!
Not in the pampering promises,
to scale over the highest mountain
or dive into the deepest ocean,
all for you.
Not in the rythmn
of our conjugating flesh
but in the resonance
of our seeking hearts,
beating as ONE.

for the 'Vanguard Anniversary Valentine Competition,' with the Valentine Weekend-for-two which was spent at Federal Palace Hotel Victoria Island,V.I. on 14/2/2004.
