Fresh facts are beginning  to emerge on why South Korean Oil giant :K.N.OC left the shores of Nigeria.
News hitting The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria, shows that the decision by the regime of Dr Goodluck Jonathan to ask the KOrean oil firm to pay a $500million dollar bonus change instead of a $100 million bonus charge led to the departure of the oil concern.
An impeccable source who was a former colleague of this reporter and who had worked for K.N.OC in the past said the firm was invited to Nigeria in 1999 by Chief Olusegun Obasanjo during his time at The Presidency.
The source noted that the pleas by the South Koreans that they had not yet started to drill and were just prospecting for oil in Nigeria fell on deaf ears.
The source added that as soon as state officials revoked their licenses to O.P.L 321,O.P.L 323,K.N.O.C and its officials knew that they had over stayed there welcome and had to leave Nigeria's shoes in 2013.
