The power game as the 2019 Presidential polls gets closer is becoming more pronounced as recently as Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola,The Minister for Works,Housing and Power became the Guests of Honor at the Football game between The Nigerian Super Eagles and the Chilopolopolo of Zambia at the Nest of Champions in Uyo,Akwa Ibom State.

Analysts believe that this was targeted at boosting his ego and public relations acumen in the light of recent disclosures that the All Progressives Congress [A.P.C]was losing ground in the South West albeit exclusively by Paedia Express..

Several sporting newspapers had disclosed that the Senate President ,Dr Bukola Saraki was going to be the Special Guest of Honor and rightly so because constitutionally he is number three in the power hierarchy but the President side tracked this to make Former Governor Fashola his Guest of Honor and this is wrong if the issue of state protocols are to be considered  

On the day that this reporter made disclosures about certain undercurrents in the South Western geo-political zone of the nation,by the following day the media was a washed with reports that the Vice President and the Senate President were at an event together thus fuelling speculations of conscious efforts being made by the A.P.C to show to the whole world that there was no division in their ranks.

The Newspaper also declared that top officials had also confirmed that the Senate President ;Senator Bukola Saraki ,The Minister of Youth and Sports :Barrister Solomon Dalung ,Chairman of the Senate and House Committee on Sports, Senator Obinna Ogba and the Honourable Goni Bukar Lawan were also expected at the showpiece to which they eventually came but what continues to disturb the mind is the disrespect to the office of the nation's number three citizen irrespective of what -ever differences.

Host Governor ,Mr Udom Emmanuel ,members of his cabinet,N.O.C. President Habu Emmanuel,members of the Nigerian Football Federation 's executive and management  were also said to have being at the event but in the end it was Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola that stole the show.
