MOTHER-OF-HOLE IN THE HEART PATIENT CRIES OUT
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU…
BABY TREASURE OMOGIATE HAS A HOLE IN THE HEART AND  HERNIA AT THE SAME TIME
This reporter was in the reception room of The New Telegraph Newspapers in  Lagos,Nigeria as he waited patiently for a two P.M. appointment he had with Aviation Commentator,Mr  Wole Shadare when a mother and her seven months old baby walked in.
The beautiful looking master Treasure while sucking at his thumb passionately and innocently did not seems to be bothered  of anything in the world amidst his struggles with his breath.
In her account of why she visited the press,Mrs Grace Omogiate told The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria that she noticed that something was amiss in the baby at only two months old
She speaks:”He has very fast breathing, before now we could not even hear his breath with the ear unlike now”
“He is not growing as expected ,he cannot sit nor crawl ,the doctors say that he has pulmonary scepsis and this cannot allow his pulmonary veins to carry enough blood thereby making him to have retarded growth “
“The doctor says that the earlier he does the surgery the better for him and we need at least N3Million for an open heart surgery in India”
“He also has hernia and we have not been able to circumcise him since giving birth to him because of the hernia on his scrotum”
“My husband has been doing a lot on its as well but we are  all praying for better days ahead and a miraculous breakthrough on the matter”she added.
Meanwhile ,in a release given to this reporter ,The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital confirmed that seven months old ,Master Treasure Omogiate in their clinical evaluation has a case of symptomatic congenital heart disease which was confirmed by Echocardiography as large perimembranous ventricular   septal defect small patent ductus Artesrious  and dysplastic pulmonary valve.

LUTH declared that the baby boy will require further cardiovascular evaluation and possible heart surgery to correct his heart defects in order to forestall irreversible and threatening complications.
