BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU..
As Paedia Express Multimedia ‘s inquests into the alleged
shipment of the controversial Asian Corn beef begins in earnest ,it has being
discovered albeit in a world exclusive investigation that a woman{names with
held}surprisingly brought a live vulture instead of the frozen chicken she paid
for at a highbrow supermarket in Lagos,Nigeria during the 2016 yuletide fiesta.
Checks by this reporter revealed that the woman believed to
work for a Lagos based food and beverage company had to eventually throw away the
strange looking bird as she neither paid for a vulture nor a duck during the
controversial transaction.
The source who told this reporter of the sad incident
affirmed that since the bird was well wrapped in a package ,it was difficult
for the buyer to have spotted it among other things that she had brought until
she got home.
She speaks:”She had to throw away the vulture as had an
unusually long neck upon inspection”
At around 1:30P.m. on the 23 rd of June,2016 ,The News
office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia finally met with Mr Linus Eshiet
,Branch Manager of Shoprite ,Ikeja,Lagos,Nigeria to alert him on the recent
spate of information trending in global food business while pleading with him
to be allowed to do a check.
Eshiet thanked this reporter for informing them of trends
and affirmed that they will continue to collaborate with Paedia Express even in
the future if need be.
This reporter then did a facility tour of the frozen chicken
section of the supermarket and saw chicken variants branded in Shoprite,Zartech
and Natnudo Colours but with nothing amiss
during the inspection exercise.
