NIGER DELTA WAR!!!
ESCRAVOS COMMUNICATIONS BLOCKED
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
It would appear all forms of communications have being blocked to the oil
rich ocean platform of Escravos, off the coast and shorelines of Nigeria.
Checks by the News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos, Nigeria
through an impeccable source who tried to help the former to locate insiders on
the spot of action or hostilities in the
frontline in the Niger Delta region
where officers and men of the Nigerian Army are currently engaged in a major offensive to thwart activities of the
environmental militants,The Niger Delta Avengers showed that all forms of
communications to Escravos were presently impossible even with a Thuraya Satellite
Mobile Phone.
A source lamented the fact that he has not been able to confirm the safety
of his childhood friend and brother from the same village in Akoko Edo Area of
Edo State ,a year after he went for field operations via his unit in the
infantry Division in the Nigerian Army.
He described his friend by name ,Andrew Akpata,49 years of age as a
seasoned Nigerian Army war veteran who had the privilege of participating in
the war front during the civil war in Liberia.
His words:”I have called his wife :Betty, severally but I have not heard anything from her,I even
used a trick to call our village with the aim of tracking his safety but nobody
could tell me anything useful regarding his location in the Niger Delta”
“Normally when I call his wife ,she will pick up her phone immediately but
this days that has not being the case
and I fear that the worst may have happened”
“he has been away for like a year,he was one of the people that was used by
the Army to safeguard the Niger Bridge in Onitsha when the Biafran agitation
started again in 2015 or thereabout”
Paedia Express Multimedia can exclusively reveal that on the 3rd
of June,2016 just about three P.M. on a rainy day in Lagos,Nigeria ,Mrs Betty
Akpata finally did pick her phone calls to announce to the apprehensive caller
that she had made contacts with her husband on the war front in the creeks and
he was hale and hearty.
