The race for who becomes the next title Editor of the very dubious newspaper,The Guardian of Lagos,Nigeria has begun in earnest.

In a world exclusive investigations by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria ,it was discovered albeit exclusively that the Editor of the bad brand ,Deacon Martins Oloja left the  job sometimes in January,2016.

Checks via forensics shows that in between 1^st of February,2016 and June 6^th ,2016 ,pot bellied but short heighted ,print production technologist,Mr Jewell Dafinone who has little or no news gathering experience or antecedent has been holding the forte in an Acting Capacity for the disgraced organization.

It was also gathered that the former Editor,Mr Martins Oloja’s works has appeared briefly at least four times  within the period he is believed to have resigned as a columnist  probably so as to not to give the fact that he was no longer around in the company.

It was noted that the brand had assembled as many as six columnists to strengthen its mileage with the dubious ,Debo Adeshina and his co-partners in crime inviting other questionable figures like Ray Ekpu,Yakubu Mohammed to join hands with Mr Dare Babarinsa,Reuben Abati and Oloja to help save the carcass called The Guardian.

Once upon a time,in 2009,as News Editor of now rested Horizon Express Newspapers ,this reporter implicated the trio of Ray Ekpu,Yakubu Mohammed and Dan Agbese in the killing or murder of their friend and colleague,Mr Dele Giwa at the then Newswatch magazine in a report titled:Babangida:The Killing of Dele Giwa.

This reporter had discovered the names of Chief Alex Akinyele and Chief Mike Adenuga during forensic checks of Newswatch copies published shortly after the publishers death hence it was not difficult to figure out a conspiracy ring on this characters as with Adenuga on the board of Newswatch at the time and with Akinyele serving as Federal Minister of Information would not have allowed the investigations of their principal,General Ibrahim Babangida ,then at Dodan Barracks.

Less than two or three years after this publication,The Newswatch brand was hurriedly sold to business magnate,Barrister Jimoh Ibrahim in a sale which has not gone down well with the original owners till this day thus suggesting a transaction based on duress.

Paedia Express can also point out that the highly respected and outrageously handsome ,Mr Dare Babarinsa who also manages a start up called Gaskiya Publications could not manage The Westerner magazine to profitability before now hence his selection for this job looks very suspect.

Paedia Express will not comment on Dr Reuben Abati as his performance during Dr Goodluck Jonathan ‘s era is enough to judge him by officially.

Yet,these are the men in the “Voltron-Force”team assembled by Eluemuno Emeka Izeze and Debo Adeshina to help deliver them from a possible Tsunami threatening to sweep the brand over board but can they?

It would appear that the forgery scandal rocking the Guardian Newspapers to its foundationsfor the past 12 years led to the untimely resignation of Deacon Martins Oloja as Editor of the self acclaimed flagship of the Nigerian newspaper industry.

As the race for who becomes the next editor of The Guardian Newspapers reaches fever pitch,names like Mr Alabi u.Williams ,Ms Nike Sotade,Mr Abraham Oboemeyowa Ogbodo are expected to slug it out with  the inexperienced but sentimentally favoured ,Mr Jewell Dafinone as it is unlikely the troubled firm will want to employ an outsider who will know the dirty secrets of the company and may be use it against them in the future like this reporter.
