DAY DAILY TRUST NEWSPAPERS REJECTED
ALL OF MY PHONE CALLS AND NO SINGLE REPLY
NARRATED BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU,THE
HATE FIGURE IN THE NIGERIAN PRESS
on the 04/07/2017 i
called 08112661608,a voice short message service option was given to me by the
telecommunications provider but i did not take it even though i will not know
why myself as i was getting agitated by the experience.
i also called an MTN number 08131800030 at nine o clock local time but this was switched off .
i sent emails repeatedly to the following emails but
surprisingly only the whistle blower was working it
letters@dailytrust.com
whistleblower@dailytrust.com
opinion@dailytrust.com
news@dailytrust.com
i also called this numbers even though it stated that people
can send in texts :08131800030
08112661608 but even the only platform that was ringing
refused to get back to me.
only a whistle blower phone line of 08055497449 was
operational when we called as 08035896941 was not working at all.
i called the only line working at least four times or so
calls were also put through at around nine sixteen P.m local
time on same day and this was an attempt to get in touch with someone in the
firm's news room in Abuja,Nigeria .
at least about a four calls that went through or thereabout were never
replied at all even though the phone at the other end will reflect that there
was a caller from the other side.
so between nine thirty six to nine forty P.m. the phone
lines were very busy but no response from Abuja,Nigeria headquarters of the
Daily Trust Newspapers, Nigeria's best newspapers. who were pleading with the
whole world to donate handsomely to its Internally Displaced Funds Project
