OGUN STATE :UNILEVER NIGERIA BUILDS NEW BLUE BAND PLANT IN AGBARA

Unilever Nigeria Plc Lagos,Nigeria is believed as at press time to be building a massive multi-billion naira production plant in Agbara ,Ogun state of Nigeria.

Checks by The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria ,shows that as at press time,blue band margarine or butter product was being produced in the last six months in Nigeria and no longer in Ghana but not yet in commercial quantity.

A source told this reporter that this became imperative after President Muhammadu Buhari 's regime put a lid on all forms of imported commodities from entering into the land.

The Source also explained that Blue seal Vaseline ,Petroleum Jelly product ,also from the stables of Unilever Nigeria Plc has also began some level of production in the company as at press time.

The source could however not tell this reporter when the blue band production plant being constructed in Agbara,Ogun state will be commissioned neither could the source tell this reporter about what the new production capacity of the plant will be like.

It would be recalled that Unilever International had moved the blue band brand to near- by Ghana couple of years ago for what the company had termed matters gone beyond  its immediate control at the time.
