Fresh facts just emerging on the high profiled ,multi -billionaire kidnapping tycoon :Mr Chukwudumeje George Onwuamadike alias Evans has showed that he was actually paid a sum of about $2million recently  after kidnapping the mother of an incumbent state Governor[names withheld for security reasons]

By experience ,The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria knew very well that members of the Nigerian law enforcement agencies were usually not so efficient when it came to doing their jobs except when a notable Nigeria's interests was under threat especially in the aftermath of the news that Evans was  arrested and released by the same law in 2006.

A policeman had told this reporter that there was no criminal that they did not have his dossier and that they only make arrests when the latter steps on the foot of an influential figure.

In an investigations by this reporter recently on the subject matter,it was discovered that the information regarding the kidnap of the mother of the Governor was kept as a top secret while the episode lasted even as the source disclosed that this had to be so as it will be out of tune for the state to admit publicly that the Chief Security officer of the state in question had his mother kidnapped and had to pay a ransom before she was released from the underworld recently .

Couple of months ago ,this reporter had disclosed exclusively after seeing the security mechanism around a Governor at a public function and raised an alarm to the effect for the politician involved to do something urgently for his own safety case.

A source said that Evans actually had more properties than the information released by the Nigerian Police as he was one of the real estate agents that helped him to buy his houses.

According to the impeccable source,Evans was in the habit of doing business strictly in raw cash  and never used the bank and this made to evade the law for several years until his recent capture after his cup ran full.

He also noted that the kidnapping don was usually seen jogging by neighbors around his neighborhood  at posh  Magodo area of Lagos, Nigeria  without an inkling as to what he actually did for a living.

It was also learnt that he usually paid all the resident association financial dues to who so ever was concerned even though he never was able to attend any of the meetings with other residents.

In a related issue,a source who works with the Nigerian Police faulted some of the ways the law agency handled the Evans issue even as he quickly agreed that the case filed against the police by the suspected bandit will not stand the light of the day.

The source affirmed that they  had once tracked a criminally related matter to Evans's home but they had to turn back due to the palatial nature of the house as they did not believe the place belonged to a criminal.

The source also added that if Evans was not tried in either Lagos or Port Harcourt in Rivers state  then he may likely escape the death penalty as the laws of the others states were relaxed on crime.
