The GRAND STRATEGIC truth is that Nigeria is both a state and in a state of internal Fulani colonialism, executed in four way, with one exception.

The dominion strategy is to position the Fulani as the "centre of influence" and get the other ethnic nationalities revolve around them. to do this, we have the hawks.
1 The Hawks are that hard liners like Sir Ahmadu Bello, General Murtala Mohammed , Buhari and Musa Yar'Adua, who make it clear that Nigeria is theirs to dominate!

Many don't know Musa Yar'Adua was a Lt. Col (but was promoted Brigadier and subsequently Major General above other non Fulani Muslim Colonels and Brigadiers his seniors) and made Chief of Staff Supreme Head quarters, number 2 in the nation.
When Murtala was killed, there was the need to promote Obasanjo Head-of-State to avoid the repeat of August 1, 1966, when Brigadier Ogundipe the most senior and next in succession, was bypassed and power given to his junior, Lt. Col Yakubu Gowon.

To have bypassed Obasanjo again, would have been another crisis. For national balance, equity and Justice, Murtala, the custodian of the caliphate's interest who was killed by middle belt Christian officers, had to be replaced by a Muslim officer from the North.
It is on record to the credit of T. Y Danjuma, the Chief of Army Staff at the time and next most senior in rank and office (who himself a Northern Christian), to have stepped aside for a Northern Muslim his junior to become the chief of Staff Supreme Head Quarters, the official number 2.
While there were qualified Northern, non Fulani Muslim officers like Shewa, and I. B. M Haruna amongst others available, to placate the caliphate, Yar'Adua was promoted over other Northern Muslim officers, to that position.
2 Doves, those Fulani who dominate but with a liberal mind. Fulanis like President Umaru Yar'Adua, Shagari and Atiku, distinct from the hawks, because they are liberal.
3 The "STOOGITOGENERALS" a word I coined from the combination of STOOGE and GENERAL. These are the military stooges of the caliphate who are not Fulani but their yes men in uniform. They are Gowon, Obasanjo, Danjuma, Abdulsalam, who placate the caliphate by protecting their vital interest.
Ironsi, Ogundipe and Ademulegun also belong here.
4 CIVILIAN YES MEN OF THE CALIPHATE.
These are civilians who have held the most important office in the land; Nnamdi Azikiwe Obasanjo, Shonekan and Jonathan. Who protect their vital interest. To this list may be added, influential civilians like, Tinubu, Saraki, S. L Akintola.
5 The exception are the revolutionaries
-Chief Obafemi Awolowo, jailed by the judge with tied hands.
-Aminu Kano.
-Joseph Sarwuan Tarka.
-Major Nzeogwu and co.
-Lt. Col Tony Nyiam, and the coup plotters of 1990.
-Chief MKO Abiola cross over from a Civilian yes men of the Caliphate to the revolutionaries and paid the price.
-Wole Soyinka
-Abacha the corrupt revolutionary who challenged the caliphate by dethroning Sultan Dasuki.
-Major Isaac Jasper Adaka Boro
-Lt. Col Ojukwu
-Major Umar the revolutionary member of the caliphate.
