SOUTHERN KADUNA:EL RUFAI LINKED TO ARMS CACHE IN” VIOLENCE SAGA”
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.

The Governor of Kaduna State ,Mallam Nasir El Rufai is now believed to be at a loss as to explaining how two huge trucks of arms and ammunitions was linked to him in the wave of a deadly heat of violence that has recently engulfed the Southern communities of the state.
In an exclusive investigations by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria ,it was learnt that the politician with a presidential dream had sent the cache of arms to a Muslim group  for them to use in the orgy of violence but somehow it ended up with a Christian who blew up the lid on the secret arms racket.
The source who spoke to this reporter disclosed that the Governor is said to have instructed  that the muslim groups in the area in which violence is said to have erupted should use the arms to defend themselves to prevent any forms of aggression.
The source affirmed that as at the time of going to press ,the Governor had been begging Christians in the area and a lot of their top leaders within and outside the  state to douse the tension of the startling discovery as it was capable of destroying his political career.
The source speaks:”They want to turn Kaduna and Jos to muslim abodes at all cost and it is all the handiwork of the Hausa Fulani people but this cannot stand at all”
“I can assure you that we will rather all die in Kaduna than for that to happen ,I do not know what they want  but they derive a joy at attacking our people all the time”
The source added that the arms discovery took place just some few days  to the Christmas amidst a media blackout on the subject though the issue in the state had being widely reported in the Nigerian press.
Efforts made by Paedia Express in Lagos to get in touch with Mallam Nasir El Rufai via his faacebook page for four days did not yield dividends as at press time
In a related issue,The Secretary of the Christian Association of Nigeria [C.A.N],Kaduna State Chapter,Reverend Sunday Ibrahim in a media chat recently was quoted as saying that he was in disagreement with the Inspector General of Police,Mr Ibrahim Idris over the position the latter took in respect to the casualty figures.
His words:”C.A.N. Kaduna State stands by the figures produced by the catholic Diocese of Kafanchan as they were at the epicenter of the killings and many of its members are victims of this unjustifiable killings”
The catholic archdiocese of Kafanchan had alleged that the unrest in Southern Kaduna had claimed over 808 lives in 53 villages across the tensed up area.
In a related issue,The National Council of the Ulamas have suggested that the state government should as a matter of urgency try to arrest and prosecute perpetrators of the killings to deter others from attacking the people .
The Chairman of the body:Sheikh Abubakar Tureta insisted that all government at all tiers in the land should work harmoniously together on the matter so as to find a lasting solution to the crisis.
He assured that there will never be any form of peace in the area if any of the people causing the crisis are not in any way apprehended, tried and summarily dealt with.
