BILL GATES LINKED PROJECT KICKS -OFF IN LAGOS

A Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation Multi-billion naira empowerment scheme targeted at helping Nigerians out of poverty line has finally being flagged –off at Ketu,a suburb of the commercial city of Lagos,Nigeria.
Checks by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos, Nigeria suggests that a flurry of activities will soon start taking place to galvanize businesses into top flight action as from July,28th after the inauguration of the various committees set for the Lagos state chapter of the Green Community and Grass root Support Initiative also called by the acronym ,G-Casi .
At the state convention grounds in Ketu, Lagos, Nigeria held on a rainy day ,the Lagos state Coordinator of the largesse, Mr Oladokun Cole said he was elated at the tireless efforts of some of the stakeholders which made the meeting day possible .
Mr Cole took out time to single out the authorities of Ikorodu Local government for doing a yeoman’s job at helping to provide a platform for the event to hold despite initial hic-cups.
He revealed to the audience that the end to the very long journey in a long tunnel over waiting for the project to kick start has finally come as Nigerians in places as far flunged as Akwa Ibom , Sokoto ,Delta were already enjoying the benefits of the project since it has started there.
He assured that the even took place due to the need to appoint Nigerians into various committee so that work can start in earnest as assignments will soon begin on a daily basis.
He pleaded with all local government and council coordinators to take the pains to collect the information from them on the level of logistics that was already on in Sokoto as the project has started in earnest with that serving as a guide for them as well.
He affirmed that the formal launch of the event in Lagos signifies a day that road map was set aside for the future of several businesses involved in the scheme.
In a related issue,Mr Mike Esigwa,the National Leader of G-Casi said that the national leadership of the body was excited because now all and sundry now knows that the scheme was not another scheme like MMM.
He pleaded with all stakeholders at making sure that all hands were on deck for the formal inauguration that will soon take place while revealing of efforts they had made at feting some Chinese businessmen who had recently visited the country towards a form of synergy on the project.
He assured that the real intention of the newly formed agency was to synergies with the Chinese business men and their firms on solar powered devices.
He also asked the various state coordinators to help the agency at getting names of their members that will be interested in their poultry assisted scheme as well while reiterating that the newly formed agency have technical partners who will help to actualize dreams in this regards.
He also told the gathering to mobilise themselves towards the formation of a cooperative society which he insists will be very beneficial to them as it will open them to various forms of opportunities with grants not out of the equations for businesses involved as well.
He added that one of the immediate task f the national body of G-Casi was to provide a state secretariat for the agency in Lagos, Nigeria, a task he assured will be met shortly.
In a related issue ,Pastor Bamidele Ashade told the gathering that it was very critical for an inauguration to be done before any thing can happen and as such all hands should be on deck for it.
He told the gathering that while getting an effective road map for the inauguration it will also be imperative that proper planning is done so that things that caused any forms of failure in the past should not be repeated by all and sundry.
