WAR:GUNMAN PURSUES LUNATIC INSIDE THE GUARDIAN NEWSPAPERS
BY
ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
A LONE GUN MAN ,BELIEVED TO BE A STAFF IS SAID TO HAVE POINTED A SILENT REVOLVER AT MR DEBO ADESHINA AS AT PRESS TIME AS SITUATIONS GETS MORE UGLY INSIDE RUTAM HOUSE IN LAGOS,NIGERIA
A member of
the Sub Editing Desk of The Guardian
Newspapers in Lagos,Nigeria has told the News Office Desk of Paedia Express
Multimedia Group how a colleague of his had “cocked-up “ a silent revolver
which he pointed at the head of the Executive Head of the Editorial Board of
the company,Mr Debo Adeshina at close quarters as tempers rose inside the
newsroom recently in the fake news churning factory of the Nigerian newspaper
industry.
Efforts
made by this reporter to get the real identity of the man who attempted to
shoot to kill Mr Adeshina for
professional harassment did not however yield any form of dividends as at press
time as he labeled him as a ranged staff who was gradually working himself to
the top hierarchy of the brand but will not divulge much or further information
on the subject.
His words:”he
cocked up a silent gun and warned him
after pointing the gun at him that he could blow his head off if he continues
to torment him,the man said that he was doing his job as expected but was tired
of Debo Adeshina ‘s reign of tyranny and was ready to kill him if he did not
stop using his position to intimidate him”
“izeze is
no longer in the firm but Debo Adeshina is still their though his powers has
being curtailed by the Ibru’s to prevent further damage to the brand,Izeze lef
after Toke Ibru said he does not want it to be said around that he was ordering
people who were old enough to be his father’s age mate around “
“The source
lamented that Mr Debo Adeshina has refused to leave the company despite seeing
the handwriting on the wall clearly that he had now outlived his usefulness with
the company”
The Nigerian
Press and populace had ganged up against the Founder of Paedia Express
Multimedia since 2004 on the issue of the forgery against him at The Guardian ,The
Comet and The Nation newspapers with Mr
Debo Adeshina at the epicenter of the greatest reported newsroom crime
in the history of modern newspaper business aside from the hacking saga of
Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World which eventually forced the brand out of the
market in the United Kingdom.[U.K]
The gang up
led to the founder of Paedia Express Multimedia resigning his membership of the
Nigerian Union of Journalist in January,2017 after surviving attempts through
divine intervention to send him to
prison via the controversial Nigerian Press and Practice of Journalism Council
Bill and the anti-social media bill ,both hatched by rivals in the sector for
his relentless fight for press freedom and to protect the dupes in the sector.
In a
related issue,a source who this reporter shared this with lamented the decay in
the Nigerian society as he wondered why such a professional was being feted by officials from a Presidency
claiming to be fighting corruption at a recent meeting in Ibadan, oyo state.
The source
later showed this reporter his identity card to prove to him that he was not
lying that he was from that organization but claimed that he had ran out of his
business or complimentary card.
In the same
vein, another source had told The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia that
a massive looting now characterizes the operations and management of the
scandal sheet with the circulation department fingered in this new twist.
The source
insisted that he was sure that sales had gone down considerably in the brand in
recent times.
Just last
year, this reporter was told about how Ibe Iwalaka, the former Judicial Editor
was also sacked in a similar manner like that of the founder of Paedia Express with
the source cursing the owners at the time.
