North Korea has being described as probably the greatest belt for rice production at any level in the world.

A global affairs  analyst or commentator while speaking with this reporter said the impact of socialism has weighed down heavily on the businesses and trade balance between North Korea and several nations globally .

According to the source ,one of the reasons why North Korea despite having a diplomatic presence in Nigeria was not one of our strongest trade allies was due to ideological differences in several aspects of human endeavor .

The source explained that the rice industry in North Korea was bigger than that of China ,Vietnam ,Laos,Malaysia among st several nations ,but quickly pointed out that it has not being able to push this commodity into the front burner of global commerce due to fierce politics by the North Korean leadership.
