Oba of Lagos in Nigeria,Oba Rilwan Akiolu has been described as a man who is seriously addicted to drugs hence his irrational behaviour in recent times and as such should be forgiven by the Yoruba race and every culture loving Africa beyond.

A case in point was his irresponsible and reckless treatment of the highly respected Oba Ogunnusi Ojaja the 2^nd ,Oonirisa of Iletofe popularly called Ile-Ife ,th cradle of the Yoruba civilisation where not less than 40 million Nigerians from the south West point to as their origin.

It is even more spurious that when the video showing Oba of Lagos as insulting the revered Oooni went viral over the social media ,the retired Assistant Inspector General of Police [A.I.G.] who is supposed to be an embodiment of culture and discipline lied by insisting that he was not supposed to shake hands with the Ooni of Ife but was showed to this reporter in an online piece shaking some government dignitary some days later.

In an interview with The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria ,a source swore to this reporter that Oba Akiolu was addicted to Indian hemp and other forms of narcotics hence his bad manners.

She revealed that a friend of  hers who ran into him in an elevator during his days in the police lost her pregnancy due to stage fright as the policeman who will later  become a monarch was feared by all.

The source wondered why the Oba of Lagos will become unfriendly to the people of his domain by now constructing a new high fence around the palace to limit the entrance of people who usually go to felicitate with him especially at festive periods.

The source blamed the entire crisis on the door steps of Ashiwaju Bola Ahemd Tinubu’s regime for anointing  a liability and an indian hemp addict as the Oba of Lagos in Nigeria for mundane reasons rather than cultural considerations when there were better candidate for the role in the society

Couple of days after snubbing Ooni of Ife and claiming it was for cultural reasons ,Oba Akiolu was seen shaking hands with a government official.

As at press time,the place of oba of Lagos in Nigeria had being touched by unknown assailants believed to have been angered over the insult to the exalted office of Oduduwa,the progenitor of Yoruba race which Ooni of Ife represents.

This will not be the first time Oba of Lagos in Nigeria will find himself in very difficult situation as a little about two years ago ,he was using his position as Oba of Lagos to curse all those who decided not to vote for a candidate of their choice other than his in 2015..again for reasons bothering on the mundane.
