Founder ,Centre for The Defense of Human Rights and Democracy in Africa [C.D.H.R.A.],Professor
Maurice Fangnon has laid the blames for the killings that took place at Torogbame
in Ajah,Lagos,Nigeria in September,2014 ,on the door steps of the Governor of
the state,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.
In an interview with The News office Desk of Paedia Express
Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria,the human rights defender said that Ambode
was in total support of the last invasion in the area as he supervised the
security operations.
He affirmed that not less than five people died during the unfortunate
incident with 2 killed under the watchful eyes of Mr Ambode.
He noted that while the Muslims that died in the orgy of
violence that followed the invasion were quickly buried in line with Islamic
beliefs ,Christians were still in the morgue till date
HIs words:"2 people were killed with Ambode watching,i
think we buried them recently at the Badagry cemetery and the funeral
ceremonies have not been more than a month now"
He added that he was soon expected to appear at the First
Criminal Investigations Department ,Area 10 in Garki,Abuja in a petition filed
against him by Oba Saheed Elegushi
