Within a week of
commentaries and editorial messages sent by The News office Desk of Paedia
Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria ,The Federal Government of Nigeria is
strongly believed to have sent out gifts worth $2million to the government and
people of the Republic of Sierra Leone .
Nigeria 's Foreign Affairs Minister,Geoffery Onyeama was at
the head of government delegation to Freetown to convey the heartfelt goodwill messages of President
Muhammadu Buhari and the nation to President Ernest Koroma who had declared a
state of emergency due to the weight of the tragedy on his nation.
Big Nigerian banker and key business magnate ,Mr Tony
Elumelu was also seen in Freetown with Former President Olusegun Obasanjo as
both heeded the clarion by Paedia Express Multimedia Group.
More donations continue to pour in as at press time with The
Ooni of Ife ,Oba Adeyeye Ogunnusi and his immediate family also said to
seriously involved in helping with every form of humanitarian aid as more Nigerians take up the gauntlet after a
reader from Stockholm in Sweden had sent a distress online message to this
reporter to help to promote a fund raising scheme via Go Fund Me that was put up for the people
and government of the Republic of Sierra Leone due to the level of tragedy and
its possible consequence on their economy at large
