WATCHLIST:E.F.C.C,I.C.P.C MANOUVERED IN
A.P.C GOVERNOR'S
HOME " BILLIONS" RAID
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU
According to the International organisation on Migration between 1.8 million to 2 million people remain internally displaced in the North Eastern Parts of Nigeria
Information just
filtering in into The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia
Group in Lagos,Nigeria ,shows that a Governor of one of the North Eastern
states currently embroiled in the insurgency recently had his private home
raided on the 30th of June,2017 by operatives of the Economic and Financial
Crimes Commission [E.F.C.C] and the Independent and Corrupts Practices
Commission [I.C.P.C].
As at the time of filing this report ,efforts made by this reporter to
clarify from the source where exactly did the raid took place did not yield much
dividends but the source insisted that it was one of the North Eastern
Governor's private residence.
The Source also added that the main stream press had being
silent on the affair since the news broke out on the cash discovered by the two
anti-graft agencies due to a shut -up order from the top.
It would appear that the Governor in question had used
executive fiat and the powers of incumbency to muscle the I.C.P.C and the
E.F.C.C from whistle blowing on the matter.
The source also told this reporter that the cash had more of
foreign exchange than Nigeria's local currency,The Naira ,in what was believed
to have being a major tip off operation for the anti graft agencies .
Millions of dollars in foreign aids had being voted by a lot of governments around
the world to the Internally Displaced Persons in the North Eastern parts of
Nigeria with analysts now thinking that perhaps it may be from this particular conduit
pipe that the Governor had wanted to help himself without he being noticed..
This report has however been confirmed by one of Paedia
Express Multimedia 's Commercial Associates as at press time before the
eventual filing of report
