If Nigeria truly wishes to make Boko Haram terror war an issue of the past  and not the propaganda being done of its winning the war by the Nigerian military High Command ,then Paedia Express Multimedia 's editorial and Policy Board in Lagos,Nigeria will advice that President Muhammadu Buhari look at how Algeria won the war on terrorism .
It would be recalled that a bloody civil war had raged in Algeria between 1991 to 2001 as Islamic Salvations Front won an election which was annulled by the leadership as at then but today things have changed seriously as Algerians no longer sees Islamist groups as a ready alternative.
The Algerian government have encouraged groups like Da'wa Salafism who are more concerned with preaching and moral probity .
Salafists are a network that are not involved in politics as it is now known that islamists no longer have the power to galvanise the populace like the Islamic Salvation Front did in the 1990s...
The numbers of Algerianswho have joined ISIS as compared to other Arab nations have being reduced to the barest minimum thanks to reforms carried out by its leadership as they have only contributed 250 fighters as at 2016 .
Though a Nigerian once told this medium that terrorism is never stopped where ever it starts and rightly so ,however Algeria provides a testament to place where it was halted.
It is now expected that the Nigerian government should work hand in hand with its embassy in Algiers so that all vital details regarding the  aforementioned can be gotten and dealt with officially in Abuja,Nigeria
