LAGOS:FULANI COMMUNITY FROM
NIGER REPUBLIC PRAY A DAY AFTER SALLAH
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU
The Fulani community at Ifako Ijaiye District of Lagos,Nigeria are strongly believed to have prayed at a make shift prayer grounds at Jungle Bus Stop  along Iju-Ishaga Highway in Lagos,Nigeria ,a day after majority of Muslims globally observed their own prayers.
This reporter will not know immediately as at press time the spiritual wisdom behind this decision by a tiny fragment of the Muslim Ummah in Ifako-Ijaiye but it is strongly believed that there were reasons for this minority group to have acted in defiance of the larger majority .
The Sultan of Sokoto ,His Royal Eminence ,Sultan Muhammadu Saad Abubakar ,The 3rd ,who is believed to be the final arbiter in all cases involving the practice and interpretations of Islam in Nigeria and even recognized and held in high esteem in the seat of the faith in Saudi Arabia will be surprised at this development though it may be an isolated incident.
