ALHAJI S.A.YISA LIVED A LIFE WORTHY OF EMULATION
The death has being reported of one of the nation's finest breed of public servant,Alhaji Sunmonu .A.Yisa,a retired Auditor General ,Ministry of Finance,Minna,Niger state of Nigeria.
Alhaji Yisa who hails from Obeiba in Ihima in Okehi Local Government Area of kogi state however sojourned in the North Western part of the country for the better parts of his life.
He had worked for the defunct North Western state ,Sokoto State Civil services in various capacity before transferring his services in 1976 to the civil services of the then newly created Niger State of Nigeria .
He rose through the ranks to be appointed as the Auditor General of Niger State despite not been originally from the state on account of his transparent stewardship.
A devout Muslim,Alhaji S.A. Yisa was married to two wives during his life time and sired the following as children:Abdulrahaman,Amina,Maryam,Nasir,Yisa Ogirima Junior,Fatima,Rahmatu,Halima among others .
Like all of mankind,Baba Minna like he was fondly called during his lifetime by family members also witnessed his own fair share of the vicissitude of life as he lost both Maryam and Nasiru during his life time.
Upon attainment of the mandatory 35 years of unblemished services done to the people and government of Niger State,Alhaji S.A.Yisa went into accounting and auditing consultancy as he got appointed again as an external auditor by the Kogi state government.
Alhaji Yisa who died on the fifth of March,2017 and was buried in accordance with full islamic rights at his country home In Obeiba ,Ihima in Kogi state of Nigeria will be sorely missed by all for his sound judgement on moral issues,self discipline and fatherly role to the various communities he has lived all though his life time.
