BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
ELDER SISTER TO THE DECEASED:MRS ABIMBOLA SALT ESSIEN NELSON IS A POPULAR NIGERIAN PUBLIC AFFAIRS ANALYST,LATE SHOLA GASKA IN AN AFFECTIONATE EMBRACE WITH HER PROTECTIVE ELDER SIBLING DURING HER LIFE TIME
The recent murder of
a Nigerian,Mrs Shola Gaska said to have been married to a man from the
communist nation of Poland has continued to generate interest across a lot
groups in Nigeria.
Checks by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia
in Lagos, Nigeria in respect to the dastardly killing suggests that the family
of the deceased will have to work extra harder if they are to get the kind of
answers they expect from their in-laws as regards the death of their daughter
on the 28 of December,2017.
Mr Wale Rodgers ,a lagos resident told this reporter while responding
to questions on the matter that he was aware that the Poles were linked to a
lot of ritual killings for monetary purposes .
He pointed out that he has read of shrines built with human
bones but made to look like a church thus giving people the chance to seek out
powers that will help them to get rich quick.
This statement though an opinion is not foreclosing the
possibility of a ritual related murder as it were as there was no post mortem
submitted to the Nigerian family of the deceased as at press time.
In her own contributions, a Briton {names with held}while
commenting on the Poles as a people viz-a-viz the murder of the Nigerian
lady,Mrs Shola Gaska said that based on her experience with them in the past
the Poles find it very difficult to assimilate into any culture hence she was
not surprised at the fact that they probably never really liked Mrs Shola Gaska
despite her been married for seven years to their son.
She speaks:”I recall that when you go to their shops even
all the signs on their walls are written in Polish and they only employ people
from their zones alone”
“they are very secretive people ,close knit and I think this is due to several years of communism and as such are not really very friendly
people at all”
She assured that she had visited Krakow ,Poland before and that her memory of the city was that of a
place with a large market square and a museum full of Jewish history.
She added that since murder was already being suspected by
the family of the Nigerian woman:Mrs Shola Gaska ,she was sure that there was
going to be a lot of cover-up in the process.
i think the last paragraph about Polish people in the Uk is a stereotype.
