Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources, Hon James Anbua today paid a surprised visit to a private rice processing factory being constructed by former member representing Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency at the National Assembly and Speaker Protemporal, Rt Hon. Terngu Tsegba at the Industrial Lay Out, Makurdi.
After conducting the Commissioner round the factory, he expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done by Hon Tsegba and enjoined other Benue sons and daughters to always invest in the state which according to him is the only way that they can contribute their quota to the development of the state.
Hon Anbua expressed readiness of Government of Governor Samuel Ortom to partner with any investor(indigenous/foreign) who is ready to invest in the state.
Earlier, the CEO/MD of the rice milling factory, Rt Hon. Chief Terngu Tsegba said he is into the production several years ago but the idea of going into processing and subsequent as an off taker came to play because of the priority given to the Agriculture sector by the present administration and further encouraged farmers to cluster themselves so that they can attract value additions on their produce.
