Land is key to life

Landed assets have been described as a key to man’s livelihood on earth.
In a paper presentation by Australian university don at the recently held lectures of the centre for constitutionalism and demilitarization in lagos,Professor bui thi bich  lien described landed assets as very paramount in the livelihood of man in all the societies it exists. she said that the paper presented  a number of key issues regarding interactions between state laws  and social rules in resolving land disputes.
She took her time to examine recent trends in land law reforms in developing countries globally ,saying the issue introduces a potential model for resolution of landed matters.
She pointed out that alternative dispute resolution was a contemporary trend in the field of dispute resolution.
According to her ,ADR refers to non-adversarial methods of handling issues such as mediation, conciliation, arbitration and negotiation.
She told the gathering tat those who started the concept of alternative dispute resolution [ADR ] were interested in studying patterns of social ordering ,
She added that the advocates of the [ADR]ideology  were concerned about the capacity of the courts and adversarial litigation to adapt to changes in social conditions.
