A power tussle has broken out in Weppa wano tribal clan in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State.
In an exclusive interview with Paedia Express Multimedia in lagos,Nigeria,an impeccable source close to the principal actors involved in the crisis said that  the issue was over who will become the next king of the kingdom.
The kingship titled: Okumagbe of Weppa wano clan  has been vacant since January 1st 2002  after the likes of Mr Cletus Isedu and other members of the clan who are loyal to one of the contestants got involved in the burning down of the royal palace.
The issue of who becomes the next king has been done based on selection in the past from the four ruling houses  that constitute Weppa wano clan.
It was gathered that Mr Cletus Isedu felt that his kinsman that was positioned to get the role of the king was robbed off the chance of becoming the next king of the kingdom as his uncle was the eldest person among the people that were supposed to produce the next  king..
It was learn t that because of his position which some very powerful interest were not comfortable with ,he was declared wanted in the community .

The heart of the matter: Rethinking prevention of cardiovascular disease is an Economist Intelligence Unit report, sponsored by AstraZeneca. It investigates the health challenges posed by cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the developed and the developing world, and examines the need for a fresh look at prevention.
The report is also available to download in German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Mandarin—see the Multimedia tab

Why read this report

  • Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is the world’s leading killer. It accounted for 30% of deaths around the globe in 2010 at an estimated total economic cost of over US$850bn
  • The common feature of the disease across the world is its disproportionate impact on individuals from lower socio-economic groups
  • Prevention could greatly reduce the spread of CVD: reduced smoking rates, improved diets and other primary prevention efforts are responsible for at least half of the reduction in CVD in developed countries in recent decades…
  • …but prevention is little used. Governments devote only a small proportion of health spending to prevention of diseases of any kind—typically 3% in developed countries
  • Population-wide measures like smoking bans and “fat taxes” yield significant results but require political adeptness to succeed. There is no shortcut for the slow work of changing hearts and minds
  • The size of the CVD epidemic is such that a doctor-centred health system will not be able to cope. Innovative ways for nurses and non-medical personnel to provide preventative services are needed
  • A growing number of stakeholders are involved in CVD prevention, sharing the burden with governments. Now, greater collaboration across different sectors and interest groups should be encouraged
  • Collaboration works when incentives of stakeholders are aligned, including business. Finland’s famed North Karelia project suggests better alignment of interests is crucial to a successful “multi-sectoral” approach
Cardiovascular disease is the dominant epidemic of the 21st century. Dr Srinath Reddy, president of the World Heart Federation
We know a lot about what needs to be done, it just doesn’t get done. Beatriz Champagne, executive director of the InterAmerican Heart Foundation
Action at the country level will decide the future of the cardiovascular epidemic. Dr Shanthi Mendis, director ad interim, management of non-communicable diseases, WHO

Commenting on the choice of location, Kamps said that the management of the recently opened Cocoa Mall had embraced the cause of the world record attempt.

“We want to give the people of Ibadan a fun-packed morning for the entire family. All you have to do is bring your kids along on Saturday 30 November and join us at 9 AM at Cocoa Mall,” said Kamps.  In addition, there will be great prizes to win and games to play. The first 100 people to be seated will instantly get a welcome gift. There will be a Nestlé MILO Crunchy Quiz with lots to learn about and earn with nutrition. There will be music, dance and laughter for the whole family. Other attractions include a bouncing castle, face-painting and unlimited flow of cereals!

Since its launch in April 2012, Nestlé MILO Crunchy Cerealshas been embraced by Nigerians. So far, the brand has given over a million bowls of cereal for free to try in supermarkets across the country. Kamps said, “This year we’ve teamed up successfully with the world's premier toy company, Mattel and brought Hot Wheels to Nigeria. Special packs of Nestlé MILO Crunchy Cereals had free Hot Wheels race cars inside.” The Category Business Manager also added that in December, a similar promotion will run in partnership with National Geographic

Kamps also stressed the nutritional benefits of eating breakfasts noting that all Nestlé cereals are made with fibre-rich wholegrain and every bowl contains great source of vitamins and minerals.  He concluded by saying, “The advantage of NestléMILO Cereals for breakfast is convenience and nutrition to the mother and great tasting, fun breakfast to the children. So far, we have placed 36 million smiles on kids’ faces: 36 million bowls of nutritious Nestlé MILO Crunchy Cereals were consumed. For us, it is about promoting breakfast for the whole family and that is why we want to breakthe world record for the longest breakfast cereal table.

FG TO COMPLETES 65.34KM AKURE – ILESHA ROAD IN 21 MONTHS SAYS MIKE ONOLEMEMEN

By Henry Ibya
The Minister of Works, Arc. Mike Onolememen, has stated  the Federal Government's resolve to rehabilitate Akure – Ilesha road and deliver it to Nigerians in 21 months.  The Minister made this statement while flagging – off rehabilitation works on the road over the weekend in Akure.Arc. MikeOnolememen who was represented by Director Highways, Permanent Secretary's Office,
Engr. Yemi Oguntominiyi, remarked that the Akure – Ilesha alignment which forms part of the link road between the South West and South East Geopolitical Zones of the country, will considerably reduce travel time of commuters, traffic fatalities, vehicle operating cost as well as promote employment generation and
transportation of rural communities and goods on the alignment.
The Minister also noted that the project, which is being handled by Messrs Kopek Construction Limited, will be completed and delivered within 21 months from the day of flag – off.
The project is funded to the tune of 90% by the World Bank and 10% by the Federal Government.  This is borne out of the
understanding that since governments around the globe cannot single handedly meet the huge infrastructure deficit of nations by relying on public purse,  it becomes apparent for governments to partner-with -multilateral and private sector financiers in order to meet up with demands of citizens.
Earlier, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Dr. Olusegun Mimiko represented by the Commissioner for Works, Engr. Gboye Adegbenro, had noted that though the road was long overdue for rehabilitation, but thanked the Federal Government for innovatively placing the rehabilitation under a very reassuring funding source that will ensure completion within specified period of 21 months.TheDirector, Road Sector Development Team (RSDT), Engr. Ishaq Mohammed, promised to supervise, monitor and ensure the delivery of the road within the 21 months.  Also present at the flag-off was Senator Iyiola Omisore, Hon. Jibola Famurewa and other elder statesmen.
