BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
They sang various war songs for about 10 minutes before they
flagged off their world Press Conference.

gruesome killing. killing of 4 of its brethren about 14 years ago via a case of extra judicial killing .
The Ekwulobia Imeobi Obinwanne Youth Association who lost
four of their kinsmen in a reported extra judicial killing over a decade
ago are now asking officials of the
Nigerian Police through the Police Service Commission to return the bodies of
their fallen brethren to them for burial.
In an address to a cross section of the Nigerian Media
recently, The Chief Convener of the group,Mr Akaraka Chinweike Ezeonara went down memory lane as he recalled the
circumstances that led to the gruesome murder of their brothers at the time.
He recalled that the deceased ,namely Anthony
Ezenwafor,Chukwuemeka Ezeofor,Izuchukwu Ezeama and Alloysious Osigwe were killed
by trigger happy police men then serving at the Aguda Police Station under Area c in the Lagos
state Police Command.
He specifically urged Chief Mike Okiro to use his good
offices and position at the Police Service Commission as Chairman to release
the dead bodies of their brethren.
His words:”We implore the Inspector General of Police, Solomon
Arase to do something about this issue since he was aware of it in the past,we
demand justice from all authourities in Nigeria as it has been 14 years of the
killing of our brothers”

14 years ago, robbers had attacked a Lagos neighborhood leading
to the victims taking to their heels in the process as the policemen kept
shooting indiscriminately with the victims shouting in defence that they were
not thieves .

earnestly demanding for their bodies now”
