FORMER GOVERNORS OF KOGI STATE:WOULD THEY SURVIVE IF BELLO DECIDES TO BLOW THE WHISTLE?
An air of uncertainty now hangs over a sum of around N32.4Billion believed to have developed wings to an unknown destination during the nine years regime of Alhaji Ibrahim Idris,Former Governor of Kogi State in Nigeria.
In an exclusive investigations by the News Office Desk of Paedai Express Multimedia in ikeuhi –Ihima,Kogi state recently,it was learnt through a competent source that a former Deputy Governor of the state,Dr Phillips Salawu had called the attention of his then boss t the fact that at least N300million had a habit of disappearing from the states Federations allocation on a monthly basis  but the latter asked him to forget about the issue in a terse reply.
The source told this reporter that the missing Kogi state funds could be traced to the  to the Accountant General of the state,The Commissioner for Finance of the state as at then and a special aide to the Governor at the Government House ,Lokoja at the time.
The source did not however give the names of the respective state officials to this reporter but was nonetheless very emphatic  that there was a racket dogged dip into the state’s purse while Alhaji Ibrahim Idris also fondly called Ibro by admirers and foes alike held sway as Governor.
The source told Paedia Express Multimedia that as at press time ,a lot of state documents were either disappearing from people’s desks or were being destroyed so as to stall cases of possible enquiry into gross financial misconduct by Kogi state officials in yesteryears ..
The source wondered why Captain Idris Wada never bothered to show any forms of remorse in the course of his stewardship in office as Governor as they the civil servants especially at local government level practically lived on squalor.
The Source told Paedia Express Multimedia that he has only been paid at least five months of his salaries  and emolument since 2012 apart from the 10 percent of his last month’s salary  that was paid by Okehi Local government Area  as at February,2016 when he spoke to this reporter.
