The Minister of Energy John Peter Amawu, the member of parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and the Volta regional Minister Archibald Yao Letse have received a video of warning from a rebel group who call themselves the Dragons of Western Togoland military army that in less than 21 days they will reclaim “their motherland”.In the video it could be seen that these masked and armed Dragons of Western Togoland military army are standing behind their national flag and the leader of the group speaking to details the mission and purpose they deem it fit to carry on such actions.

According to the them, the group has about 4,300 trained men in the neighboring country Togo who will help them conquer some part of Volta Region that they have ownership to.The leader of the group later sent another cautionary to the chiefs and other leaders of the nearby communities in the Volta region that, they should not be deceived by any political leader who will try to stand on their way.

In the last two weeks news monitored through the multi-television's satellite channel ,The Joy News as at press time shows That the News office Desk of the E.N.M.Paedia Express Multimedia Group of Lagos,Nigeria that top officials of the Ghanaian nation were currently  holding meetings at various level with tribal chiefs of the various interest groups in Volta region over the purported declaration of secession by the militant groups..

Statements credited to Madam Emefa Apawu showed that provisions had being made on security in Western Togoland even as the warring opposition groups continue to kick as at press time.

It was uncovered that the recent incidents on the succession had led to huge piles of tyres being burnt freely by protesters at the Abotija,Ajimi and Apoku Junctions respectively..

It was gathered that several efforts made by the local press to speak to the natives over the unfortunate incidents that led to the fight for secession had failed as they all refused to speak to them ..

Apawu explained that a high powered delegation from Accra led by a team of Ministers had met with The Volta regional House of Chiefs with the tribal chieftains assuring that the nation will not be allowed to disintegrate but quickly pleaded with the government to provide them with incentives so that if there is any crisis in the future they can easily get in touch with them in Accra in the future very easily...

Apawu pointed out that most of the tribal chieftains were actually asking no one in particular ,why no one amongst them picked up any form of intelligence on the matter before the trouble finally started.

However this reporters findings shows that this was like playing to the gallery and therefore hypocritical... as facts available to this medium shows that the issue has being on since 2017/2018...

The Deputy Minister of Information of the Republic of Ghana,The Honourable Pius Enam Hadzide in the company of members of his delegation were in Ho in Volta Region and insisted that they were aware of what was at stake as rebel were preparing to cause trouble which the rest of the nation was not prepared for..

He assured that they were battled ready to confront the national threat as Ghana's nationhood statue was not going to be compromised in any way...

Chieftains from Udome,Gbledi and Wli traditional areas while distancing themselves from the separatist noted with joy that they remain part and parcel of The Republic of Ghana..

So far 60 people have being arrested with 54 undergoing interrogation pending being referred to the law courts for prosecution with security deployments done at Pkasa,Oti,Nkroyan amongst others to deal with the threat...

There has being no decisions on declarations of a curfew in the region right now but all options were said to be on the table...

Ghanaian officials at the meeting with the chiefs were of the opinion that the state will not be inter facing with the secessionists due to criminality as they blocked roads ,vandalise properties and introduced  chaos into the crisis in the process.

Dr Archibald Yao Letsa ,The Volta Regional Minister in his own contributions noted that they  have being trying to deal with the issue since 2017 and even  though he has lived amongst them for long and knows a lot of people but he is not in agreement with secession.

He accused a section of the local press of engaging in a hatchet job targeted at tarnishing his image  which he rejects in very strong terms..
