BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
An explosion which occurred on the 24th of
October,2016 and caused a level of
damage to one of the two transformers serving the century old Bookshop House Limited led to it being shut out of the
nation’s power grid,insiders say.
Checks by The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia
Group in Lagos,Nigeria shows that the effect of the power supply situation was
currently affecting the two generators that has served the real estate asset
for years.
In a circular sent to all the tenant in the building ,the management
of the firm managing the edifice said that they have had to take a drastic
action on the matter so as to avert a
situation of a possible paralysis and total shut down of the entire
building.
Bookshop House Speaks:”We have decided in the meantime ,say
one week the generator will operate from
8:00a.m to 6:00P.M. from Mondays to Fridays”
“the above is in the interest of both parties and for the full functionality and prolongation of
our generators and services”
The outfit added that all the measures put in place to check
the power supply anomaly started on the 3rd of November,2016 but
quickly added that normal operations will start shortly.
