For Bishop David Abioye of the Living Faith Church Worldwide also called Winners Chapel ,these are not exactly best of times for him in christian ministries .

He has helped to nurture the dreams of Bishop David Oyedepo ,General Overseer of the church right from cradle to a resounding success story for which it is known and highly respected for globally even amongst people of other faiths.

He had hoped mortally speaking that one day when his principal goes home  the mantle of leadership will be handed over to him afterall if the prerequisite for the church leadership was about anointing he was pretty sure that he will not be found wanting in this regard or so he thought.

Bishop David Oyedepo ,on the other hand probably felt it will be mortally wrong to hand over his life’s swaet to another human being different from his own bloodline  as even irf does that what assurances will he have in the grave that Bishop David Abioye will hand over the reins of power to his own blood line or will the latter not change the legal powers of the church where money flows in per second billing.

In an exclusive chat with The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria ,an impeccable source who is equally a clergy laid the entire blame on Bishop David Abioye ‘s laps..

The source explained to this reporter that some people who knew exactly what could happen in the future left the fold while the ovation was still at its loudest wondering why Abioye served Oyedepo dutifully and now he is serving the latters’s children as well.

The source revealed exclusively that the eldest son of Bishop David Oyedepo who is fondly called Junior G.O. by church members is now fond of deputizing for his father as he ministers to the church with Bishop Abioye left to wonder  whether it was a dream.

The source also noted that aside from Junior G.O. ,the three other children of Bishop Oyedepo who are all involved at various level of gospel ministrations are now all suddenly superior to Bishop Abioye whom many see as a highly gifted spiritual master, But who  like in a football team now suffers the ignominy of bench warming..

Feelers as at press time suggests that Bishop David Abioye has been transferred from the strategic can nan land ,headquarters of the church to Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The source added that if the decision taken by Bishop David Oyedepo against his erstwhile deputy and right hand man was not divine then it was pretty sure that a fierce battle for the control of the church’s finance will ensue very soon.

Christendom has witnessed  some of the greatest betrayals in human history especially when the issue involves succession due to the heavy money involved when leadership transfer is being made.

The Celestial Church is still enmeshed in crisis several years after the demise of the founder due  to lack of spiritual foresight on leadership selection.

Forbes estimates the church to be worth a sum of around $150million.
