HEALTH CARE :R.JOLAD HOSPITAL WANTED A MILLION FOR DIABETES
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
A Nigerian , Mr Oluwatoyin Olagunju of a parastatal in the Federal Ministry of Environment in Lagos,Nigeria but who is now bed ridden with diabetes has disclosed albeit exclusively to The News Office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria that a private specialist hospital at the Garage area of Gbagada ,R.Jolad actually asked him to cough out well over a million naira when he initially went to them to seek for medical attention as he battled diabetes .
He explained to this reporter who was also hospitalized at the time that he had spotted what look like a funny hole beneath his foot  and in annoyance tore it off and since then he has known  no peace at all.
As at the period between 22nd of November,2016 to 26th of same month, this reporter discovered that despite what now looked like a deep sore being treated repeatedly every morning with the best of therapy ,the victim or patient in question has refused to heal.
This reporter observed an odor which seems to bear semblance to fired or roasted flesh thus heightening his fears that this kind of odour was probably what fueled the culture of cannibalism.
It was also discovered that apart from the bucket full of all variants of drugs prescribed by medical doctors as the victim battled the ailment ,the latter was in pains every day.
It was reliably gathered that after spending a whole month at The General Hospital in  Ifako-Ijaiye and with the level of cutting edged treatment been provided  he had not expended beyond N100,000 in treatment after a month at the state owned medical facility as compared to R.Jolad Hospital who were asking for  over a million naira as there initial consultation fees  before commencement of treatment .
Fears are rife as at press time that Mr Oluwatoyin Olagunju may have to get his leg amputatedto keep him alive as his condition shows no sign of any form of medical improvement .
Three different surgeries had being carried out on his affected leg by a team of doctors at the hospital  without any reprieve as at press time with doctors discharging Mr Olatunji with no assurance of what happens to him next.
