IF the President Basheer Al Assad ‘s regime did not unleash a chemical warfare in Syria leading   to the death of scores of civilians, then the Islamist group,I.S.I.S would have as it is clearly a case of kill or be killed.
Checks by The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia in Lagos,Nigeria ,suggests that the issue which has led to a very big tension in the gulf with the United states of America attacking Syria for using chemical weapons on hapless civilians has led to Russia ordering two of its warships  in its navy arsenal to head and berth  near Damascus as at press time.
I.S.I.S. are long known to have carted away a  lot of chemical weapons from the destroyed laboratories of the University of Mosul in Iraq during their occupation of the city in between 2014 till early 2017.
Insiders also insists that most of the swathes of land taken over by I.S.I.S have major oil facilities with their own chemical supplies and weapons possibilities.
A source agreed that it will not be out of place to say that Assad was scared of losing out in a chemical war race to I.S.I.S and this was what prompted him to fire the initial salvo.
The source also noted that since the Syrian civil war had dragged on for as much as six years ,he will not be surprised if Syria was financially broke as against i.s.i.s which has a large swathe of war chest monetarily buoyed from the oil fields they have captured as spoils of war .
Seized at the University of Mosul in 2014 was about 40 kilogramme of unenriched uranium though experts had declared at the time that it will be difficult for the terrorists to us e it for any form of warfare.
However, the group was able to make vital quantities of mustard gas which had being  deployed regularly against Kurdish and national forces.
I.S.I.S will most likely use chemical   weapons in its efforts to defend Raqqa, its defacto capital in Syria.
