GADDAFFI:STEPS TO RELEASE
SAIF AL ISLAM STARTED OVER SIX MONTHS AGO
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU,
Saif Al Islam ,once touted as the heir apparent of now deceased Libyan Leader and strongman;Muammar Gaddaffi actually earned his journey to his freedom about six months ago when the idea  started to gather a storm in LIbya before it finally became a news item over the last forty eight hours globally.
The News office Desk of Paedia Express Multimedia Group in Lagos,Nigeria had first learnt of the plans to release the bespectacled Arab Bedouin aristocrat sometimes in December,2016 on the web while scurrying it for some information but at the time it did not report it because it was no longer new as it had being reported by a news media outlet.
Investigations also shows that since Libya was now being ruled by at least three different and rivaled armed gang group who were stifling western interests especially on oil in the country ,Gaddaffi's son may have been released as part of a greater Western plan to bring back normalcy to the nation hence the decision not to push for Saif Al Islam's extradition to the Hague  ,Netherlands to face a war crime tribunal as widely expected for genocide and crime against humanity.
the Gaddaffi dynasty despite being severely decimated by the Arab spring are believed to enjoy a cult status in the land hence ,foreign policy experts believe some very powerful forces may have negotiated his release and the group now using the media to push its agenda suggests  that there was indeed a political calculation.
While some members of the powerful Gaddaffi clan are long dead with their father,Muammar in that better forgotten war in Libya ,now famously tagged as the Arab spring ,some members of the family live in exile in Algiers, Algeria as they pick up the pieces of a once flamboyant life of royalty at the Bab al Aziziyah, their fortress for at least four decades.
In a response to this reporter at an international conference in  Accra,Ghana in 2012,Former President Olusegun Obasanjo had hinted that Muammar Gaddaffi would have lived if he had
taken the several options that was made available to him at the time but decided to go the way he did out of a personal decision to die as a mytyr .
Analysts now strongly believe that it was just a question of time for the hard core loyalists of Late Gaddaffi to re-group under the long known designated successor ,Saif Al Islam and reclaim power with its fortress,Bab Al Aziziyah being rebuilt as well
