SEAMLESS OPPORTUNITIES
BY ABDULMUMINI ADEKU.
Stakeholders rose in
unison from a one day Focus of Nations African Summit ,a monthly project
campaign embarked upon by The Sunbird African Media Limited ,Lagos, Nigeria and
insisted on the fact that the South Western African nation had more potentials
than previously thought of by tourists.
Checks by The News

that the nation is actually a place to visit for tourists and other first time
visitors.
In his submissions at
the event, Guest lecturer ,Mr Chuma Nwokolo said he has had the rare privilege
of travelling to at least 16 nations around the world but surprisingly has
never been to Angola which now evokes more passion than expected.

Angola had being through several years of a bitter civil war and sadly this had its own impact on national
development and cohesion in the land.
While speaking on the
endemic problems associated with corruption lashed out at the problems
associated with extortion at the borders and urged authorities to start liquidating
assets made from corruption if the war is to be won
He explained that he
won't be surprised if tourists are warned not to go certain areas in the
country as a result of several years of sustained war leading to undetonated
landmines being installed.
In his own take,The
Chief Executive officer of the sunbird African Media,Mr Richards Mammah noted that the Portuguese African nations owes
Nigeria a lot in terms of goodwill as it
supported them to where they are till date.
He pointed out that
the nation had being going through some kind of transition in the last one year
of Mr JoaoLourenco been in charge as The President after taking over from Mr Dos Santos.,with
the former now trying to lead the nation to a path of greatness through putting up reforms .
In a related issue,Mr
Oluwole Olusanya said that there were magnificent places to visit in
Angola as the nation was a tourist
haven.
He added that if the
issue of corruption can be handled effectively then he was sure that the nation
can enjoy a very robust economic future.
